The first English team to win the European Cup.

    Commentary mint

My dad spent all his pocket money to get there from Langley as a kid!

He's worked hard and has done alright me old fella since then, but he still rarely misses a game.

It also gets him away from me mum.

    I love 'em so much.

    Like harry with Arsenal.

    Like Cy with West Brom.

As football fans, it makes or breaks your weekend.

And Manchester United, I will always love you.

Have a look at the ‘67 final. Much more meaningful. First UK club to win,and won not on home soil but in Lisbon.
Didn’t need extra time, all players born within 30 miles of Glasgow. Hail hail

In 1937-8 Season City were champions Utd relegated (inc a 4-2 thuming at the Bridge) .
Just one season later City relegated and Arsenal champs, anything can happen, the serendipity of the bouncing ball and the heroes who try to control it.

    Still is Lu.

    Always will be.

By the way, you were posting and replying to yourself on another thread I was reading yesterday. That is fucking weird.

Fun European Big Cup question for Harry and nammers:

Manchester United were the first English team to win the European Cup, in 1958.

How many have Arsenal won since then?

    Clue: fannneeeeeeees!

    Last season Europe: No.

    This season PL: No.

Trophy collecting last season. Again. Doing what we do best.

More Premier League titles than any other team in the land.

The club that everyone dreams of playing for.

The club that is supported all over the world.

The club with a history like no other in Britain.

The club that everyone wants to talk about:

Martin Samuel on the media’s obsession with Man Utd:“You will never ever go poor if you fill your website full of Manchester United stories.”

    The national obsession.

THE GREATEST CLUB IN THE WORLD.

Someone's head is gonna be hurting tomorrow and I'm not sure it will be mine.

I've heard the doughnuts are good in "Dunkinfield" though.

Celebrating an FA Cup while 14th in the league, after finishing 8th last season... with Negative GD for both.

Did Portsmouth fans even do that 15 years ago.... Well, not their real fans anyway.

Portsmouth finished eighth in the Premier League while winning the FA Cup in 2008.

They finished in 14th the following season.

Last season: United finished in 8th place but won the FA Cup. This season 14th.

Hal celebrating being the new Portsmouth.
