Their captain just said 'Number Ten' instead of 'Number Tin'.

    Dubious.

    Great game!

NZ vs Pommys was a good ol' ding dong.

Engerland must have had a plan based on upsetting D-Mac at 10. They dropped more bombs on him than the entire RAF in Iraq I&II, with a chaser always following up looking to clobber him. Rucks were highly contested and it was a pleasure not to have the 3rd official jumping in every 15 mins to go back in time to address something that happened half an hour ago al la the RWC.

Deja vu in the dying minutes. Not so long ago Aus were caught out playing silly buggers, intentionally wasting time, and it came back to bite them on the bum. Nearly happened again tonight to the ABs.

A scraped win for the ABs but either side would have been worthy winners.
Some people think it don't, but it be.

Two great games with NZ just having the edge. Well played to both teams.

After last week's big encounters it's a lot David v Goliath games this weekend:

    Fri 19 Jul - 19:55 (UTC+10) - Queesland Reds v Wales - Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane
    Fri 19 Jul - 19:30 (UTC-08) - New Zealand v Fiji - Snapdragon Stadium, San Diego
    Sat 20 Jul - 15:45 (UTC+10) - Australia v Georgia - Allianz Stadium, Sydney
    Sat 20 Jul - 17:00 (UTC+02) - South Africa v Portugal - Free State Stadium, Bloemfontein
    Sat 20 Jul - 16:00 (UTC-03) - Uruguay v Argentina - Estadio Domingo Burgueño, Maldonado
    Sat 20 Jul - 17:00 (UTC-04) - Chile v Scotland - Estadio Nacional, Santiago

There might be some upsets if the big guns bring their 'B' teams.

Japan v Italy is probably the most evenly matched.

This weekend, 10 August, the Rugby Championship kicks off with Australia at home against South Africa. Later in the evening the Los Pumas take on the All Blacks in Wellington.

    Wallabies v Springboks 1130AM TST

All Blacks v Los Pumas 1405PM TST

Lunch time beers and Southern Hemisphere rugby sound like a good weekend activity.

Brutal Boks beat the Wallabies 33 - 7.

Halftime in Wellington ABs v Argentina — it’s a good game so far.
