City v Inter Champions Final June 10th

Will try to stay up to 2am Sunday here to watch

Could be a great treble and seal Pep's career as if it needed to be done.
In a week in which Mourinho disgraced himself Klopp and Lampard saw teams flop he is at the top of his game.

Who knows Ten Hag may step into Sir Alex's hard to fill shoes, Donostiak Mikel Arteta has done well and may fire up the Gunners again only time will tell?

    Venue
Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul 10pm local time 20.00 UK if watching streams from England.

I think our only hope is some classic catenaccio.

That's not the name of a player, Chits :).

    No...

I'll be a Man City supporter for the duration of the final. Although, I'm increasingly thinking that Inter will win.

With 101 official accusations, with charges pending, of cheating over a 9 year period, while already having received a 2 year ban from Uefa for such?

    Blimey.

Those Tractor Boys have no morals.

I'm not even gonna watch the farce.

I wonder if the Inter fans have any songs about corruption and cheating that they used to sing to their neighbours

^ If the mighty Blues had two of those players (outside our excellent starting 11 in 81/82 we'd have won the treble) - having squad depth helps so much when you're deep into multiple pies (so to speak; I need Looper to confirm).

^^ There's a bit of cheating going on in Italy that's for sure. My morals are high, obviously. You might not know the guy on my new avatar, but he used to be a player and worked as an exceptionally poor manager too.

^^^ When you get the ragheads taking over at United, you'll be happy to pray 5 times a day, ignore the rule breaking and win 10 cups a season.

He took Sunderland from 2nd from bottom of the table to champions in the same season, the only manager ever to do so, I believe. Winning him Manager of the Year.

(without cheating, so the trophy stays)

I knew the Sunderland stuff would be brought up...

All I know is (not a lot, not a lot...) that the useless twat was about as good as Mick McCarthy as ITFC manager. But, our new Man U team is doing pretty well in the lower leagues; should be interesting to see how they do in the Championship next season (I expect mid-table or lower).

Anyways, Inter, with current manager, have been in 7 cup finals and won all 7.
