    The Republic of Korea’s Se Young An has beaten China’s Bing Jiao He in straight games to win the gold in the women’s singles badminton event.




    The Republic of Korea athlete took a while to settle into the match but after she did she raced to a 21-13, 21-16 win.

    Thoroughly enjoyed the Mixed Judo, which I think was a rerun.

    Japan took a 2-0 lead and along came Teddy Riner, who lit the Olympic torch, to beat the Nip he scuppered in the Men's 90Kg final. And he beat him again.

    Eventually it got to 3-3 and then they spin a wheel to see who will play the decider.

    And they picked them both again.

    And he won again.

    Storybook stuff for the French.
