This exlax and Seconal in my morning Jo is working wonders I find myself in complete agreement with Khvns Cy and Switch

At the end of the day it is an experience and will aid those countries that just miss out but who could provide an upset - it literally takes NOTHING away from more established countries except for of course healthy players . . . the injury lists will be massive.

All previous records will be smashed . . . because France will whip Burkina Faso 27-1 with one player scoring 11 of them. This then gets back to a national team's psyche getting reamed game after game.

It's a toss-up . . . not sure if I like it or not.


Also, what will this do to normal season games . . . endless qualifying matches etc...

I guess the qualifying matches will stay the same.

Just that the top 4 will go through automatically, than say the top 2 and a play-off for the team in 3rd.


Given there are always 2 or so big teams that fail to qualify, I think it's a good thing.
