Yeah. I like that about this one. Other fantasies I've played aren't like this. If you are last out of the gate( like i was) , it was almost impossible to dig yourself out.

Yes, well, Andorra were never likely to qualify.

    Another interesting statistic I heard today;

England has had more 0-0 draws than any other team in World Cup history and overall the most draws.

Another, the three top scoring nations in world cup history are:

    1) Brazil 229

    2) Germany 226 (Now we need many more to get through the groups stage after the idiocy against Japan)

    3) Argentina 137

    4) Italy 128

    5) France 120

    ... England 91

    How rude.

I see that you're assuming 'Mendipo' is my team?

Anyway, I'm just getting the hang of it now.

    Well, well...

Nothing says 'Up your game' more than when you find yourself at the bottom of the table, spit-roasted between Chitty and Dill. The stuff of nightmares.

    I'm better than this.

I'm relying on your Danes to get me out of trouble tonight Helge, please don't let me down.

One interesting stat I have is that Germany are currently on 0 points and are likely to be on a flight home next week.

    How does that sit?

The other one I have is that England have pretty much already qualified for the next round.

But you knew these stats anyway.

^ If they're unlucky enough to be put on Lufthansa then it would sit pretty badly for me, after my experience this year.

    I can second that.

Whatever happened to German efficiency and reliability?

Have Japan fucked their airlines too?

England didn't play in one until 1950 and even then they sent their best player on a promotional tour instead.

Then there's three for which they didn't qualify

Yup . . . 0 points and Spain up next. The German team is good enough to beat Spain, but if they screw up like in their dominating loss to Japan then we're fucked and deservedly will head home.

How does this sit? Not even worth sitting . . . the team is far too good to go home so early again, but we deserve to if we don't get two wins now.

Sigh . . . like and England supporter at any tournament since 1966

    Mono-lingual soap-dodgers.

At least I'm not delusional about our chances, Fatty . . . We're good enough, we stay. We're not, we go home. Easy enough for even you to understand.
