Toto is lobbying the team for a new concept for the W14. Hmm I wonder why..

Toto cancelled his sky interview to talk to father Stroll. Free engines for Red Bull floor secrets? Toto owns shares in Aston. Aston is a black hole financially. Just watch. Mercedes is going to get the Red Bull blueprints from Aston Martin.

Toto has c. 1% of AM cars.

Merc owns a c. 2% shareholding in AM cars, set to increase this year to 20%.

AM cars' biggest single shareholder (c. 28%) is Stroll, who is also the main shareholder of AM F1 (don't know what % though, he was reported as doing the racing point deal via a consortium of which he was the main member).

Toto has a 1/3rd shareholding in Merc F1 alongside Merc cars.

    Toto:

"We gave it our best go over the winter and now we all just need to regroup, sit down with the engineers, be totally non-dogmatic and ask what is the development direction we want to pursue in order to be able to win races.
Or as Whinger Spice put it:

    "Change the fucking car!"

It is all rigged. Ferrari had their bit, then redbull, then mercedes and now back to redbull because they were threatening to leave. Now Stroll has his ore in, he has gotten something out of it as well. F1 is a joke, pretty much has been since the Ferrari era. It is just a spectacle now, like going to an amusement park for motor heads.

The Ferrari Red Bull fight last year was the perfect way to ring in the new regulations. But it all got ruined with the flex floor and ride height technical directives. That everyone thought was going to slow down Red Bull.

Hamilton let go his personal trainer Angela Cullen. It will be a big loss for the TV director.

I'm pretty sure they've got matching tattoos saying 'Loyal'.
But I guess she's been paided enough over the years to get that removed

Goodbye to Saudi Arabia for another year. I stayed up to watch the whole race and I was, frankly, bored. It seemed I missed the only exciting bit after the race when Fernando was penalized before the stewards rescinded that decision.
Through the weekend Sky had a new talking head, Bernie Collins, recently ex-Aston Martin. I think she knows her stuff, although I am not sure because I could barely hear what she was saying. Her soft Irish lilt sounds to me like she is mumbling under the duvet. An old school friend wrote to me today, he has been told that he needs a hearing aid, I guess I am getting to that point too. Or do others find her enunciation difficult to follow?
Oddly enough, after my friend's message, I turned on Radio 4 for the news at the top of the hour and caught the last few minutes of the preceding program. I couldn't catch what was being said and decided it really was my hearing, then the program finished and it turned out the vague voice had been none other than: Bernie Collins.

We have some quite civilised timings in this weekend's race, which don't clash with the footy.

The start of 2022 and the new regs was brilliant. Nearly every race we had Red Bull and Ferrari fighting hard in quali and the races. I remember at least 3 occasions where Max finished less than 2 seconds ahead of a Ferrari to win.

One team wasn't happy and used safety as an excuse to whinge and get the rules changed instead of just fixing their car.

The ride height technical directive ruined the Ferrari. And made the cars harder to follow. Now we don't have a title fight.

All that crying and dooming from Mercedes and Hamilton since the start of the year. And here they are starting 2-3. Russell even mocked Hamilton on the radio. "i thought this car was supposed to be a second off"

^ seeing the ease in which mad max overtook Hamilton with DRS, I would say that one second isn't far off. The Mercedes needs to improve significantly if it is to be a match for the Red Bull.

    Good second place for Hamilton.

Ok, but the real tragedy is that Alonso got taken out, which forced the last red flag. Alonso was reeling Hamilton in before that incident.

Hamilton wouldn't have got second if George Russells car didn't blow up. Hes the faster Mercedes driver and has bested Hamilton in qualifying 3/0. And beat him in points last year. And won Mercedes only race last year.

He's British too if you didn't notice

The point is , the Hamilton side of the garage has been saying that the car is a total disaster and 4th fastest. When clearly its 2nd fastest. And if they develop anything like last year , they will make up the pace vs RB..especially if they get more favorable technical directives that ruin cars in front of them.. Like how the Ferrari was ruined last year

Probably would have got him, too. Toto has made a pigs arse of this car for more than a year now.

    Well that's pretty poor.

Stewards have ordered Australian Grand Prix organisers to urgently produce a “remediation plan” after a large group of spectators invaded the track during the Formula 1 race at Albert Park.
Spectators managed to break through security and access the track towards the end of Sunday’s race, with some reaching the car driven by Haas’s Nico Hulkenberg as it was parked at the exit of turn two.

Utter tripe. Russell qualified 2 tenths off from Verstappen. And it sounds like he mocked hamiltons claim that the car is one second off the pace
