F1 is now about engineering and machinery excellence. Verstappen is slowly learning that he does not need to be arrogant and entitled on the track. The car will do the job for him. Max is an aggressive and quick driver, who does not need to force other drivers off the track any more.
Hamilton and Russell have the intelligence and maturity to use machinery to their advantage without some idiot threatening their lives and their safety.
Hamilton is a senior driver who has earned his respect, ever since he beat Alonso driving the same car, when LH was only a talented rookie.
Russell is going to succeed Hamilton, because he is not aggressive and stupid like Verstappen and his equally entitled and arrogant team principal.

Couldn't agree more. Once an avid follower of all forms of motorsport I too can no longer be bothered. Not just motorsports either. Most all sport is all about the money a team has that make them winners or also rans.

Much more pleasure and excitement watching the local Saturday afternoon cock fights these days.

I suppose i am biased, my eldest sisters first husband Graham worked for motor racing developments for 5 years in the early 70s and he used to get tickets all over, i went 4 GPs with him and that was where i got to meet people - graham never spoke about his work, i just knew he was into cars and wasnt until i went with him and my sister to SPA that i realised just what he did. After he finished with GP he worked for a few F1 engineering cos in suspension development and retired in 86.

He drove fast they had a place in cornwall and one in hertfordshire, as a family we'd all go down to their place in cornwall in summer and he'd come and pick me up from London and drop my sister of to drive with my mum and dad, mum telling him to be careful - just me and graham in the car. He used borrow cars from mates who had nice ones - we did the trip in Daytona in 73 down the old A4. He always had an old manual dial alarm clock with a bell on top in the car, he'd get in and grab it and say hold on to that for me, no idea why - great memories.
