Have watched most of the games either on TV or on the computer (https://ko.strikeout.cc/baseball). Went to one game this year, with guests.
It was almost embarrassing, but the Marlins got lucky.

Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.
My Mariners are on a 14 game win streak. Hopefully the will keep the streak alive tomorrow!
^ You have by far the hottest team in baseball. Hope my Giants can get hot like the M's did. Well done.
We start a series against the Fodgers today.
At times it can be difficult. Even the Marlins play-by-play announcers show signs of depression.
Couple nights ago........
not all that bad. Last night they won 2 – 1 against the Reds
I wish my Reds could play the Marlins, every night. They own their asses at Great American ballpark.
^Reds are ahead 5 – 2 now (top of the 6th) against the Marlins
Nice way to spend part of your Sunday morning here in Thailand.
Just skip to the 9th (Bases loaded)
Would have been so much better at home on a Saturday evening,…..in the stands.

^ I’m thinking the Marlins will part ways after this season with Mattingly. Not that he’s doing a bad job. Shite team is all.
^ they will not spend the money
MLB Payrolls 2022
(1) Los Angeles Dodgers: $265,396,675
(26) Miami Marlins: $83,333,568
Little more than ¾’s into the regular season and where things stand.
Top ten
Bottom ten
Go Rays
My Mariners are going to be a wild card team.
^Good luck.
Some of the Marlins players will be looking for another team to sign with at about that time
Will Albert Pujols get to 700 homeruns before the end of the season? Think there are 26 or 27 games left.
No. 60! Judge sixth all time to reach HR plateau
This has been a historic, remarkable year for Aaron Judge, a year destined to be remembered among the greatest offensive performances in baseball history. And fans everywhere can “all rise” for this: the Yankees slugger isn’t even close to done yet.
Judge hit his Major League-leading 60th home run on Tuesday, launching a solo shot to deep left-center field in the bottom of the ninth inning. Not just historic, the homer sparked the Yankees to a 9-8 walk-off win on Giancarlo Stanton's grand slam four batters later.
With his blast, Judge has closed within one big swing of equaling Roger Maris’ 61-year-old American League record for home runs in a single season.
Judge is now one of only three Yankees ever to slug 60 homers in a single season. Babe Ruth established a then-Major League record with 60 home runs in 1927, a mark that stood until Maris surpassed the Sultan of Swat in 1961.
With 16 games remaining, Judge appears poised to surpass Maris and then some. The 30-year-old superstar is also competing for the Majors’ first Triple Crown since the Tigers’ Miguel Cabrera paced the AL in batting average, homers and RBIs in 2012. After his 1-for-4 day on Tuesday, he was leading the AL in all three categories.
Judge is just the sixth Major League player (ninth time) to hit at least 60 home runs in a single season, a group that includes Barry Bonds (steroids) (73 in 2001), Mark McGwire (steroids) (70 in 1998; 65 in ‘99), Sammy Sosa (steroids) (66 in ’98, 64 in ’01; 63 in ‘99), Maris (61 in ’61) and Ruth (60 in ’27).

Hello. Looking at the brackets and knowing nothing about any of the players or teams....
I'm going to back the San Diego Padres.
Go Padres!
Mariners are back in the playoffs! Go Mariners!
Although the Rays aren’t the primary baseball team I root for (the low budget Marlins are) it is nice to see a Florida team in the mix,……..even if just for a short time.
The Rays lost four of their six games against the Guardians this year, scoring only 18 runs in the season series while allowing 22. When they met last week, all three games in the series were decided by one run -- a 6-5 win followed by a pair of 2-1 losses.
