    Why isn't Kyrgios banned?

I see this gobby fucking wanker has been at it yet again.

Why don't they just ban him?

It seems like there isn't a tournament in any country where he doesn't whine and snivel like a petulant child.

It must be very distracting for opponents, and he's basically shit anyway.

Such a massive c^^t I agree but I expect he creates headlines for an otherwise quite boring sport. Sadly most tennis players are really calm and collected people, which isn't great for the type of weird world we live in.

Bin the cvnt, permanently, before kids start thinking being a total douche bag every game and abusing match officials while playing tennis is acceptable.

Even they didn't do it every fucking time they played.

I remember watching McEnroe vs Connors at Wembley Arena. McEnroe went off on one his rants and Connors sat down in the front row chatting to some bint.

Everyone was laughing their heads off which just made McEnroe even angrier.

It was comedy cold, but at least McEnroe could play some sublime tennis when he wasn't foaming at the mouth.

and they didn't behave like this prick, they usually got a laugh. This entitle wanker seems to think the world owes him respect when in fact he should be kicked off the tour. I'm just waiting for him to have a rant at the wrong person and for him to get his lights switched off, that i'd pay to see.

McEnroe and Connors have about 15 Grand Slam titles between them, I don't think the loud mouthed steak of weasel piss has ever made it past the quarter finals when it counts. Yet the cvnt carries on like he's earned the right to be a total fuckwit.

...the reason Kyrgios' infantile displays are tolerated is that he draws crowds and therefore lots of money...many of today's tennis spectators want more than mere sporting excellence: they want drama as well...Kyrgios basks in the opprobrium knowing full well that he brings bank to whichever tournament he enters...

    Malaysian & Greek parents.

The 25-year-old tennis player, known for his, entertaining and outspoken antics on and off the court, has royal blood thanks to his mother, Norlaila Kyrgios.
Born in Gombak, a district in Selangor, Malaysia, her grandfather’s cousin was the Sultan of Pahang. This makes her, by birth, the Tengku of Pahang, which loosely translates to the princess of the Pahang state.
Norlaila moved to Australia in her 20s, choosing to give up her title and leave behind her royal roots.

Tennis-Kyrgios is a bully, says beaten Tsitsipas

    Wimbledon

    Sun, July 3, 2022 at 4:47 AM

    By Martyn Herman (Reuters)

LONDON (Reuters) - Greek fourth seed Stefanos Tsitsipas labelled Nick Kyrgios a "bully" with "an evil side" to his character after losing a bad-tempered Wimbledon third-round clash on Saturday.

Kyrgios kept up a running dialogue with the umpire during the match, was warned for obscenities and upset his opponent to such an extent that Tsitsipas came close to being defaulted for whacking a ball into the crowd.

It was easy to feel sympathy for the 23-year-old Tsitsipas who won the first set 7-6(2) but lost his composure after being caught up in what he described as a Kyrgios circus.

After his stormy 6-7(2) 6-4 6-3 7-6(7) defeat on Court One, Tsitsipas made his feelings known in no uncertain terms.
"Yeah, it's constant bullying, that's what he does. He bullies the opponents. He was probably a bully at school himself. I don't like bullies," Tsitsipas said.

"I don't like people that put other people down. He has some good traits in his character, as well. But he also has a very evil side to him, which if it's exposed, it can really do a lot of harm and bad to the people around him."

Kyrgios, fined $10,000 after his first-round match for spitting towards a fan, was warned for swearing on Saturday and then called for Tsitsipas to be defaulted after the Greek hit a ball close to a spectator's head after losing the second set.

Tsitsipas apologised for losing control but said it was frustrating that the umpires did not come down harder on the Australian.
"I wish we could all come together and put a rule in place. I don't know. Something about talking. Why would you be talking while you're playing? It makes no sense," he said.
"Every single point that I played today I feel like there was something going on on the other side of the net.
"That's his way of manipulating the opponent and making you feel distracted, in a way. There is no other player that does this. There is no other player that is so upset and frustrated all the time with something.

"I really hope all us players can come up with something and make this a cleaner version of our sport, have this kind of behaviour not accepted, not allowed, not tolerated."

Tsitsipas admitted he had tried to hit Kyrgios with a smash in the third set.
"I was aiming for the body of my opponent but I missed by a lot, by a lot," he said. "I'm not used to play this way. But I cannot just sit there, act like a robot and act like someone that is completely cold and ignorant.
"Because you're out there doing your job, and you have noise coming from the other side of the court for no absolute reason."

he is a cvnt, an embarrassment to the sport, his country and himself. A bigger cvnt hasn't been seen since...Leyton Hewitt.
Someone should just clock him one - but thats not done in tennis, which is a wankers sport, so they deserve him.

    From today's Guardian website.

Clive James goes to Wimbledon, 1981

The Observer Magazine would summon the supremely sarcastic talents of Clive James when it needed funny captions to go with its photo stories,
and Wimbledon 1981 was as ripe as a massively overpriced punnet of strawberries (‘Clive James on the Wild Men of Wimbledon’).

‘Wimbledon is here again,’ said the intro slightly wearily, ‘time for tantrums and loutish behaviour beamed right into our living rooms
to give us that familiar frisson of embarrassment at the sight of grown men behaving like petulant five-year-olds.’
