Can't see Utd finishing in the top 4 this year, the top 3 will be the same IMO so its a fight for the 4th spot.

    Last 3 games for United.

    13/05/2023 15:00 Wolverhampton (h)
    20/05/2023 15:00 A.F.C. Bournemouth (a)
    28/05/2023 16:00 Fulham (h)

That journey back from Bournemouth will be a good one with the beer flowing as we celebrate our 21st title.

All clubs in the top two tiers of English football can apply to operate licensed safe standing areas next season, the government has announced.
Cardiff, Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United, and Tottenham took part in a safe standing pilot in the second half of last season.

Brentford, QPR and Wolves will now join those clubs in offering designated areas for home and away fans from the start of the 2022-23 season.
The government also confirmed that Wembley would also offer limited safe standing for fans from both sets of clubs at domestic matches later in the season.
The Football Association will trial safety rails at England's Nations League match against Germany in September, but at that stage, spectators must remain seated.
Once the trials are completed, and should approval be given by the Sports Grounds Safety Authority (SGSA), 892 seats in the lowest tier behind each goal - 1,784 seats in total - will be in designated safe standing areas.

A Premier League international footballer has been arrested in North London on suspicion of rape, Telegraph Sport understands.

The player, who is in his late 20s and cannot be named for legal reasons, is currently in custody being quizzed over an alleged attack which is said to have taken place last month.

Scotland Yard confirmed in a statement that the player had been taken into custody in the early hours of Monday. The club has been contacted by Telegraph Sport and is aware the player is being questioned, but it declined to comment.

"On 4 July, an allegation of rape of a woman in her 20s was reported to police," the Met Police said in a statement. "It was reported the alleged rape happened in June 2022."

Police said the man was arrested "at an address in Barnet on suspicion of rape and taken into custody where he remains". "Enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing," officers added.

The player is internationally renowned and it is unclear whether he will now play in his club's pre-season fixture schedule. The Premier League season begins on August 5 and the player is also due to play at the World Cup in Qatar this November.

We have had safe standing areas for years at the Etihad.

The whole South Stand and the corners of the East and Colin Bell stand.

Basically it's a seat with rails in front, nobody sits.

    Only tourist fans sit.

Go to Old Trafford it's all seating even in the Stretford End

    Has Ronny left yet?
