What a tragedy. The cocksucking lightning already have cups in this era. Nobody gives a fuck about hockey there.
Even New York would have been buzzing if they went to the finals. Let alone the Leafs. But nope. The fucking lightning again.
The Lightning dominated the game last night and will meet the Avalanche Wednesday evening.
Hope the series goes 7 games.
All I have to go is the tingling in my right nut and my left nut says TB in seven.
A three-peat would be a great achievement for the colour stealers but my money is on the Avalanche.
I'd agree . . . on form it has to be the Avalanche.
^That’s what the models are telling everyone, however slight changes (injured player/s, suspensions, etc) could influence the outcome of those models.
1st of maybe 7 games starts at 8:00pm EST this evening. Avalanche will host the Lightning for the first two games.

Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.
All neck and neck in the 3rd, tense, this is an important one to win!
Well that didn't take long but well done to the lighting for again being a massive thorn! Really sets up game 2 nicely.
There's nothing between these two.
Flip a coin.
Good start.
Avalanche vs. Lightning score: Colorado takes 1-0 series lead after overtime game-winner from Burakovsky
Overtime goal.......
Tonight (8:00 pm EST) 2022 Stanley Cup final, game #2.
We’ve Been Waiting 33 Years For A Stanley Cup Matchup This Good
All year long, we wondered whether the unique circumstances of the 2021-22 NHL season — with a deep field of contenders and scoring at a generational high — would collide with the playoffs’ usual reputation for unpredictability to deliver an extra dose of chaos. But in the end, this postseason has instead given us a hockey rarity: the two clear-cut best teams in the sport facing off with the Stanley Cup on the line. So when the Colorado Avalanche and Tampa Bay Lightning play Game 1 of the Cup final Wednesday night in Denver, it will begin a battle of truly historic proportions.
The Avalanche and Lightning earned their spots atop the league. They’ve gone a combined 24-7 in the playoffs so far, as Colorado dominated the competition out West while Tampa Bay vanquished a tough trio of teams to win its third consecutive East crown. Now that the dust has settled, the Avs and Bolts rank No. 1 and No. 2 in our Elo ratings, respectively, marking just the third time in the past 20 years (and the first since 2009) that the Stanley Cup Final was a matchup of 1-versus-2 in the rankings.
Well that was a good ole whipping!
I expect this 4-game series to be over by Wednesday evening.
Tonight’s game is hosted by Tampa Bay at 8:00 pm EST.
Lets hope it turns into a game 7 affair!
The first goal of the game made by the Avalanche must have put the home team on edge until it was taken away. Good to know it will not be a sweep, but the prediction hasn’t changed much.
Not a bad comeback at all . . . if they can string together another one or two games it'll be wide open
Game 4 between the Avalanche (2-1) and Lightning (1-2) starts this evening at 8:00 pm (EST)
The first goal the Avalanche made during game 3 which (also taken away from the Avalanche) silenced the Tampa Bay crowd is in the link (look for 8:33). Tampa Bay runs away with Game 3 to cut Stanley Cup Final deficit in half
Great OT, everyone so confused about the winning goal because the puck is usually always in Vasilevskiy glove 55555 valiant effort Vas!
Kadri a hometown leaf leaves the leafs and quite possibly will win a SC, the strangeness of the curse continues in all manifestations.
