I know there is an NHL thread, but we are in the playoffs now! Who are your favorites and why? I was watching the Pens-Rangers game today and the game was played very well. Some good strategy on both sides. I was particularly impressed by the first goal from the Rangers. Since the Kraken aren't in it, by a long shot, I am just having fun watching the games somewhat objectively.

The Pens seem to be doing pretty well too! I've been following that series. Before the Kraken I have had a soft spot for the Pens, since they won back to back when I was kid.

Yea they have had some great teams over the years, Lemieux is one of my favourite ever players and of course that epic hairstyle Jagr sported when he was with the pens.

How about those Leafs!

I'm a life long hater of the Leafs, but can recognize talent when I see it. At the start of the playoffs I predicted a Colorado Toronto final. Of course, the Leafs are cursed though, so it most likely won't happen.

Since the Canucks aren't in the playoffs, I usually don't start watching any games until the last 2 rounds, but might tune in to the next Leafs game.

^Yeah I reckon it will go to game 7, both games should be great if it plays out that way. There has been a lot of big hits and a few small fights thus far, so temperatures will definitely be raised with the high stakes. Leafs may be leafs though so 55555 I am used to it, my grandfather got all the dam glory years at The Gardens!
