    NFL 2022

This off-season is starting off with a bang. Aaron Rodgers agrees to stay with the Packers, and the Seahawks are trading Russell Wilson to the Broncos.

Bombshell announcement. Seahawks are releasing Bobby Wagner, the best linebacker in the NFL. Wow, Wilson on O and now Wagner on D, GONE!!

Horrible news. This was a huge mistake and further evidence that ownership should have fired Pete Carroll. Instead, he gets his way and trades a future hall of fame QB. We did not even get enough for him. This is a bad day for Seahawks fans.

Beyond belief!! Andrew Lock and some bit players. I want to hear the Seahawks fans voice their opinion. I dont recall a good team ever doing this before.

They did get two first round and two second round picks, but still not enough in my eyes. I am gutted to be honest.

With Cobb going to GB and Rogers staying . . . a very good shot at the title.

Yet again Bears news: . . . not much, but they could pick the Seahawks' rotting carcass and take home Metcalf and Locket . . . when you have no WRs then these two will suit.

So, where's a good QB to be had? Linemen? Anything secondary?

Nah, it'll be another soul-less season.

    Go Cubbies!!!!

No reason for us to keep either of them at this point so if we can get a couple first round picks for DK, and I am not sure what we can get for Lockett, but we are apparently in full rebuild mode, so we should get what we can for them.

they also got one of the best tight ends in football, in Noah Fant.

This is reminiscent of the Vikings/cowboys trade for Herschel Walker. Seattle is going to come out of this smelling like a rose. A plethora of picks gives them the option of going after Deshaun Watson.

I agree. Once the shock is over and few 8 and 8 seasons Seattle if they draft and trade well will come out way ahead. Russ is 33 and while young in age is just starting the slope down in his career. He is a great QB. Hall of Famer but with their picks offer opportunity to draft and trade

    Carson Wentz traded to Washington.
Back to the drawing board for Indy.
I think there will be several more qbs changing addresses. Jimmy G, and Cousins are next.

Rumor has it that, depending on the outcome of the lawsuits against DeShawn Watson, that the Seahawks may be looking to make a run at him.

You have always liked that guy and bigged him up SK, maybe he might deserve a shot.

The guy’s a winner. Unfortunately, guys like him never really get an honest shot.

Carson Wentz is a bust. That won't help Washington. D Watson is very capable and honestly a good fit in Seattle's scheme. Short of that, not a lot out there and nothing big coming out in the draft this year. Jimmy G would be a good back up QB. Cousins is like Romo was. Great stats, won games but could never do anything in the playoffs.

Fitzpatrick would have him for breakfast when it comes to facial hair.

He is a top ten QB and many have him higher that Russ, so he would be perfect.

He is currently under investigation by a grand jury and reportedly is not testifying but taking the fifth.

Any thoughts on his character? I for one would not want him on my team.

Ya know AO, One thing that has always annoyed me is the NFL continually looks the other way on players character. Look how many have done crazy things that would land the average guy like us in jail and basically unemployed yet these guys can have it go away or be put on NFL probation and get a contract for millions later once the press dies down. Antonio Brown and Tyreek Hill to name a few. Both of those guys should have been banned from football, no exceptions, but both came back. Sad really.

Well there are people locally that are grumbling about that and in fact in the car on the way to the dentist today I had KIRO sports radio on and a fan messaged in saying the something as you. I understand it and am not necessarily excited about that, but I am still trying to get my head around the new reality that we just traded our future hall of fame QB away. These types of QBs are rare in the NFL. Desean is one of them. Even though it is a hard pill to swallow, I would do it. I do not want to go back to the dark days when the Seahawks sucked, I am old enough to remember them.
