Good grief . . . it simply has to be geo-political, no other reasons.

To be fair, they applied in 2009 and the vote is still a few years away . . . and their political and social morass won't gain them access.

He should give the para Olympics a try out, that should rejuvenate his career.

He can probably still make decent money on the tour, but a grand slam win is beyond him now.

Then there's the exhibition circuit of course.

I personally met only one Serb. A neighbour, he used a knife to destroy a tyre on my car twice. He also stuck a stick into a wheel once. If my wife had not seen it before driving it would have done quite serious damage. No proof that would hold up in court but also no doubt about it. Not only I was quite relieved when he had a severe heart attack and had to sell his house.

I did like his wife and his mentally retarded younger daughter, she was nice and a responsible personality. Would not trust his elder daughter.

The tyre incidents, they were before or after you liked his wife and daughter ?

Not connected. I liked the personalities, not the looks.

Mate, TBH, it's all I could be arsed to do.

I saw that vid a week or so ago and it's just reminded me just how out of touch NoVax is with the world.

He released all that information on FaceBook just before his Court decision was to be handed down ... one assumes to 'prove' his good character.

    Here's one more.

    15. Fights for the interests of players across the establishment.

He tried to rip apart the existing ATP and form the Professional Tennis Players Association (PTPA)

Most of the Players sighed a collective * Meh * ... Novak Djokovic’s new union for tennis players gets low-key response | Tennis | The Guardian

How good is leadership, his judgement?

The Adria Tour 2020 was a tournament created by Djokovic, to be held in Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro, and Bosnia and Herzegovina between June 12 and July 5.
Announced in May, Djokovic was joined by international stars like Aleksander Zverev, Dominic Thiem, Grigor Dimitrov and Marin Cilic for the event.

Dimitrov was the first to test positive, followed by Borna Coric and Viktor Troicki. The final of the event was cancelled after Dimitrov's diagnosis.

Then Djokovic confirmed he had tested positive, as had his wife. Troicki's pregnant wife also contracted the virus.

There is no doubt however that he was doing it for altruistic reasons, he was trying to help the less better off players, no benefit to him. If you don't like him that's fine, but the attacks on his character are way over the top.

But the German gave Djokovic credit for helping players as a whole when in his position, as the world No 1, he doesn’t have to.
Quote from the article by Alexander Zverev.

    Humm ...

BBC research has cast doubt on the timing of the positive Covid test Novak Djokovic used to enter Australia to try to compete in the Australian Open.

    • The BBC analysed 56 COVID tests from Serbia, finding that Djokovic's two submitted test results were out of sequence
    • Its findings suggest Djokovic's positive test may have actually occurred between December 25 and December 28
    • Djokovic's initial medical exemption was granted on the basis he tested positive on December 16

^ As an Australian, I remember all those people supporting Novak. Where are they now. The guy lied and got someone to change his record. He was never positive on the 16th December. That test result is someone else's. Either someone in his team or himself knowingly lied with the support of the Serbian govt. ...

Well if he hasn't got that three year ban already, now's the time to add it.

I've read reports going both way ... as in allow/disallow.

Honestly, the only interesting thing that could happen with NoVax is that he contracts COVID and dies.

    NoVax replies ... BBC exclusive!

    ---

Novak Djokovic: I’m not anti-vax but will sacrifice trophies if told to get jab

Novak Djokovic has said he would rather miss out on future tennis trophies than be forced to get a Covid vaccine.

Speaking exclusively to the BBC, he said he should not be associated with the anti-vax movement, but supported an individual's right to choose.

Djokovic was asked if he would sacrifice taking part in competitions such as Wimbledon and the French Open over his stance on the vaccine.

"Yes, that is the price that I'm willing to pay," he said.
