If the ascendant Wallabies dominate the Saffas again this weekend I think there will only be one thing getting in the way of them taking home the Bledisloe this year.

No, not the decidedly average ABs team, I'm talking about the Eden Park Hoodoo.

It will be quite exciting if the jaapies win. Not so much if they don't.

Nick White's superpower seems to be mouthing off then stepping back to let the forwards fight it out.

I don't think it will interfere with the proper sport apart from the pub will be packed with drunk jaapies for the 11:05pm kick off.

Thursday night Rugby Championship at Marvel Stadium Melbourne.

    All Blacks side

No Ardie Savea this go round, but bringing in Hoskins Sotutu is not a bad move. Good to see Richie Mo'unga still in the ten jersey.

In addition to being a Rugby Championship match, of perhaps more importance is NZ defending the Bledisloe Cup which they have held since 2003.

    All Blacks v Wallabies

Thursday 15 September, 4.45pm Thai time

It's a rare Thursday night test as the Wallabies host the All Blacks in a crucial Rugby Championship/Bledisloe Cup clash.

With this time of year in Melbourne being all about the backend of the AFL season and the Melbourne Storm making their usual finals run, the test was scheduled for the first midweek Bledisloe Cup match since 1994.

And it just so happens the game was moved for nothing. The two AFL games this week are in Sydney and an hour down the road in Geelong while the Storm were knocked out of the NRL playoffs last weekend.
But the test is set to be a sellout [53,000] at Marvel Stadium (nee Colonial Stadium/Telstra Dome/Etihad Stadium).

Odds: All Blacks: $1.27; Australia: $3.70

Some strange calls by the ref. The forward pass by the Wallabies at 60 minutes for a try...

In the final minute Foley's teammates screaming at him to kick the ball and Foley just standing there like "wut?". Penalty for time wasting and ABs strike back in the 81st minute.

    Anyways...
    pues, estamos aqui
