New Zealand extended their winning sequence against Wales to 33 games, since 1953.
Sam Whitelock captained the team - his grandfather Nelson Dalzell played in the 1953 losing side.
English referee Wayne Barnes became only the second rugby union referee to control 100 Test matches and started the game by blowing the whistle used in the 1905 game played between Wales and New Zealand.

Overnight results in the Autumn Nations Series

    Italy 49 Samoa 17
    Scotland 28 Fiji 12
    Wales 23 New Zealand 55
    Ireland 19 South Africa 16
    France 30 Australia 29

An almost outstanding win for Australia v France, ahead 29-25 with 3 minutes to go - fell asleep or celebrating too early - and a great long-distance try for France

So many close games this weekend. I spent far too long at a lock-in on Saturday night, only just caught up with the highlight reels.

International rugby is a much more even contest now. I like it more than when the SH just dominated.

Foster running out a majority Blues Chiefs Super Rugby side to go up against Scotland. Fossie has persisted with Caleb Clarke who has had a few good breaks, but imho has been lacking defensive skills. Blues player Mark Telea makes his test debut at Murrayfield. Scottish born Finlay Christie starts at halfback for the ABs along with the return of Anton Leinert-Brown in the midfield.

This isn't a particularly strong AB side so I think Scotland has a chance to take this one.

I was wondering where Will Jordan has been, but he's had an inner ear issue, according to the media, and didn't make the trek north.

Rugby League World Cup: Australia into final with 16-14 win over New Zealand thanks to Cameron Murray's second-half try

A second-half try from Cameron Murray proved enough to seal victory for Australia in Friday's Rugby League World Cup semi-final at Elland Road; the Kangaroos face either England or Samoa in the final at Old Trafford on Saturday November 19

The TAB has England at $1.55 to win and the Black Ferns at $2.50, so yeah England are favourites and rightfully so. They are bringing in a 30 game winning streak.

England and France were huge favourites for the final; clearly ranked world #1 and #2

NZ has done well to get this far - last November they had complete hidings on their test series - lost to England 12-43 and 15-56, lost to France 13-38 and 7-20.

I'm backing England to win to at least recover my $ on a England-France final.

France beat Canada 36-0 in the playoff got bronze earlier today. Canada did well to make the final four - they are a complete amateur squad v a fully professional European side.

    New Zealand 19 - 26 England

Red Roses playing with 14 after an early red card. They lost a winger, but she apparently was not needed as the England forward pack has an unstoppable maul.

    Second half coming up.

Mate, England came very close there at the end. I thought for sure they'd win that lineout and then power the ball over the line.

There are three rugby league world cups on. No wonder the stadium is half empty, people probably don't know which one they're supposed to be at.

But England are hanging in there in the one on the BBC.
