It was the first year of a cost cap. F1 has these kinds of scandals all through its history. Spygate, crashgate , Adelaidegate. Championships are never overruled or taken away. They certainly aren't going to start now , over a catering budget overspend in the first year of the cost cap.
It is absurd.
The first year of the cost cap. The first year that Mercedes was unable to buy both titles.
The Red Bull cheats win again.

Was Mexico the most boring race of the year? Ferrari didn't even turn up. Lewis complaining the hard tyre was rubbish, he couldn't catch Max, but Checo on the mediums wasn't catching Lewis and George on hards wasn't closing the gap on any of them. A boring procession, except for Danny Ricc going racing.
Your butt hurt whinging is growing tiresome. You get your F1 news from a shit biased source, and you are totally deranged. In regard to 2021 if Lewis the clueless did not swerve his car into Max multiple times then the title would have been over way before it was.
The fact that Lewis is a shit driver who can not handle being back in the field means nothing to you Brittle clowns. Alonso was right, he can not drive in traffic, as Hamilton is the biggest fraud in F1 history. He was never contested in almost all of his F1 titles, and when he was, he lost.
Sky sport is total shit and the bias is clear. I hope that Liberty Media cuts ties with them. F1 is not a British sport, it belongs to the world.
You criticize Harry, then go on your own biased tirade. lol
F1 has its roots in Europe. The occasional inputs of foreign drivers outside this history, and Liberty ownership does not make it a American sport.
Ecclestone did not make it a British sport. The location of most top teams to UK did that.
Your national bias is showing again. Hahaha
Hard to say which one of you is spouting the most shit.
Nah, I'm joking, it's snubby. All he fucking understands is NASCAR cars driving around in circles, and at this time of day he's just a stupid fucking drunk.
Of course it does. Silverstone is in Europe, well the continent of Europe anyway.F1 has its roots in Europe.
And what exactly do the Red Bull cheats have to do with the origins of F1?
It's the FIA letting them get away with it, some Emirati fucking crook who only made his own name because his old man was in with the Maktoums.
Cheating comes naturally to him, so its no surprise he's letting the Red Bull cheats get away with a slap on the wrist.
By the way you pair of fucking chumps, it's Ferrari who are being robbed of their rightful titles, not Mercedes who have a joke of a car this year. Frankly if Toto fucks up so badly next year he should be out of the door.
Try and learn more about the sport and then maybe you can keep up.
You sound like skidmark.
The next post may be brought to you by my little bitch Spamdreth
I'm surprised snubby missed this. Must be drunk again.
Now if K-Mag could just take out the red bull cheats on turn 1....
Nah, it's only a Sprint Race.
Kevin Magnussen claimed both his and Haas' first Formula 1 pole as wet conditions set up a thrilling upset in Qualifying at the Sao Paulo Grand Prix.
Magnussen will start Saturday's Sprint in Brazil at the front of the grid, with world champion Max Verstappen second for Red Bull.
The 30-year-old Dane was top of the timesheet with eight minutes remaining of Q3 when Mercedes' George Russell, who will start third, spun into a gravel trap and triggered a red flag.

#redbullcheat was up to his usual again trying to force Hamilton off the track and paying the justified penalty for it. If you needed any further proof what a horrible little c u n t #redbullcheat is:
Verstappen, who sealed his second successive title in Japan last month with four races to spare, ignored a team order on the final lap to allow Red Bull team-mate Sergio Perez through to aid the Mexican in his battle with Leclerc for second in the drivers' championship.
Perez had let Verstappen through earlier and been promised his team-mate would return the favour if he was unable to gain further places, but finishing seventh leaves him tied with Leclerc on 290 points going into the final race of the season.
Verstappen has so little left of his reputation. Horner has better taste in hookers than backspin, but both have been noticeable by the absence of their commentary, when RB can’t even make the podium!
The last ten laps were superb. George was so cool in keep Sir Lewis out of DRS range and thoroughly deserved the win. Sir Lewis was gracious in defeat as ever.
Toto took the race off but phoned in to congratulate them both.
I'm not sure what was funnier: Pepe's pathetic, whiny begging on the radio to try and get them to let him past Sainz (and onto the podium!) or the schoolboy finger-wagging Ocon's race engineer gave him telling him not to interfere with Alonso.
Added: It seems #redbullcheat's actions were to punish Perez for Monaco. Must be a nice atmosphere in that pit garage then.
Even funnier: Sir Lewis gets asked about #readbullcheat's actions and the 1-2. Spent a couple of minutes congratulating George and the team, and thanking the crowd for their support (they love him - and he was made an honorary Brazilian citizen this week), and finishes with "... and you know how it is with Max, so....".
Ever the diplomat.

I did wonder as I watched those last laps if Lewis was giving it 100%. He and George are in the same car, if Lewis closed the gap to below one second he'd have DRS and couldn't avoid getting very close to George, which could have ended badly for the team. At one point the gap was 1.003 seconds, it might possibly have been Lewis rather than George who was managing that gap. I think George deserved his first F1 victory and perhaps Lewis thought so too. Only Lewis knows, he will never say and we'll never know.
