Then it will affect every team as it is a stock part for all. Unless it is the placement in the fuel tank but one would surmise they are all at the bottom.

Well if it was an overheating problem then one assumes they didn't give it enough air.

They all use the same pumps, so unless Red Bull used more fuel than anyone else, unlikely I would think.

I suspect they put it in a place where it got hot and they've moved it by now. Which would be a shame because I'd love to see them fuck up again.

No-one with half a brain cell said it was the pump, because they all use the same one.

What is suggested is where and how they installed it.

Perez on the pole. Hamilton failed to make it out of Q1 and qualified 16th. It doesn't get much better than this.

I missed Q1 but will watch it on F1 TV replay now

Sir Lewis must be wondering what he signed up for, with no pace he might as well go out on track in a combine harvester. First time he's been out in Q1 (other than technical) since 2009.

Perez ruined the Ferrari's day at the end; Ricciardo got a three place penalty for impeding Ocon.

    Lights out at midnight Thailand.

At the time , Ted Kravitz, Craig Scarborough, et al.

The actual cause was probably lack of testing.

They did the same testing as anyone else.

My guess is they put it in a place where it wasn't cooled enough. No-one in testing did near on two hours at race pace with hot brakes, stops, tyre changes to add to the mix.

He won after starting 4th today. Wanker. Was he supposed to be happy about his car breaking down last week?

Wtf are you even talking about?

So Ferrari and Red Bull are streets ahead at the moment. I can only assume putting Sir Lewis on Hards and running a long stint was some sort of experiment with only a handful of points to lose.
I hope they learned enough from it to improve things.
    Two weeks to Australia.

What the fuck are these poor sports even talking about ? When he said something about Leclerc jumping on the yellows or something? beats me.

Leclerc got the fastest lap while the yellow flags were out , if you think that Mx didn't have a point there https://twitter.com/MattyWTF1/status...cFv1YyGOViRZQw

Williams should speed up that Red Bull Powertrains deal. Change the engine now.

    Yes, well.

I heard Max complain about Charles over three different things and it has to be said that Max does use a particularly grating, spoilt-child kind of voice when he is whining:

Charles touched the white line at the pit lane entry. Max claimed Charles crossed it. More than once.
Charles's rear light was not working. I saw that it was working at a later point in the race. Was there a point when it was not working?
Charles was driving too fast under the yellow flag.

What I think doesn't really matter. The question is - Were any of these complaints noted and investigated by the stewards and what did they rule?

He is a whiny little bitch. I would agree, but I am still happy if he is finishing ahead of Hamilton, who has also been proven to be a whiny little bitch over the years. The reality I am more being attuned too is that you Brits have a totally biased one way group of sport announcers and news.

I am just now rewatching the Sky sports calling of Usyk take down of Joshua, a total different call of the fight from Americans. For most of the first half of the fight, they ignored that this was almost one-sided for 12 rounds. What a bunch of wankers.

What a load of fucking nonsense this is. Verstappen is doing his job. Racing on the yellow is illegal. So is faking a pit stop by going below the white line. That's illegal in indycar too for that reason.

I don't dislike Leclerc or Ferrari but they are a bunch of snakes. They will do anything to get an advantage. If anyone was going to put their tail lights on a toggle switch to fuck with the driver behind them, it's them. That has to be investigated.

Max Verstappen's last 35 race finishes:

    P1, P1, P2, P2, P2, P1, P1, P2, P2, P1, P1, P9, P1, P1, P1, P1, P2, P2, P1, P2, P1, P2, P6, P3, P2, P2, P3, P2, P1, P2, P2, P3, P2, P1, P3.

He's in a league of his own.
