    The Ryder Cup 2021

With the form of the Americans, plsu their retarded fans shouting "Get in the Hole!" on a drive at a Par 5 (and meaning it) it might need another Miracle in Medina to bring the trophy back to Yurp.

Times are BST, which means add 6 hours for Thailand. Might be some late nights.

    Friday

    • Morning foursomes tee off at 1.05pm, 1.21pm, 1.27pm and 1.53pm
    • Afternoon fourballs tee off at 6.10pm, 6.26pm, 6.42pm and 6.58pm

    Saturday

    • Morning foursomes tee off at 1.05pm, 1.21pm, 1.27pm and 1.53pm
    • Afternoon fourballs tee off at 6.10pm, 6.26pm, 6.42pm and 6.58pm

    Sunday

    • Singles matches tee off between 5.04pm and 7.05pm, at 11-minute intervals

The betting on Betfair is USA 1.51, Europe 3,65 and 14,5 the tie. I am tempted to back Europe. I acknowledge that America are favourites but the prices seem to be wrong as far as I am concerned. It's the same thing when England play football, the prices are always silly as English supporters pile their money on their own team. Nearly £ 2 million has been traded so far but I have no way of telling which is USA money.

"LIGHT THE CANDLE!" is the latest trend for fucking imbeciles with their cap on backwards and on their 3rd Bud Light to scream out mid-swing, why they have to do this is beyond me. Don't they ever watch golf from everywhere else in the world and realise it's only in America that this happens? Must drive the players insane, including the American players too, but we can expect it non-stop for the next few days

I already have. The American team has something like 9 of the world's top 11 in their side and on paper they're the superior team, by far. But, the game isn't played on paper and the grass it will be played on is a typical Pete Dye-abolical track of massive risk vs reward. And it's Match-play of course, which is a whole different animal to Stroke-play and world rankings suddenly aren't nearly as important.

They have a new one when they've finished booing every European player: "Get in the bunker".

They're so fucking crass. That's why it's always so important to shove it down their fucking throats if possible.

Europe have the first point on the board but they are struggling in the other three foursomes.

Keith: Well Brian, TD's fans of extraordinarily tedious sports seem to be quite fired up about this one.

Brian: That's right Keith. There's a lot of money being placed on 'The Flabby Ghost of Colin Montgomery' to win by a head.

    Keith: Umm...Brian?

One of the things I have noticed is that Harry posts on every fucking sports thread. Even the shittiest ones that nobody with a brain cell cares about like American football, golf and F1. The most boring sports of all.

He's definitely a geek who got bullied at school trying to prove his masculinity.

    What say you, harriet?

I'd say you're a working class knuckle dragger that only really understands football because the rules are simple.

What's the matter halleberry, cat got your tongue?

Or did I bring up painful reminders of when you were a fat kid and always got picked last or told to run the line?

Exactly. How could anyone possibly enjoy any of those sports when there's soccer on tv where after 90+ minutes the score is 0-0 and the most excitement came when 19 different players went down like they'd been shot while rolling around in excruciating pain and covering their eyes, but all recovered fully within 3.70 seconds of the Ref either giving them a free kick or ignoring them. I just love that game!

Anyway the bad news is that Yurp are 6-2 down and it doesn't look like things are going to improve any time soon.

The seppos need 14.5 points to win.

Yes, but your silly trolling should probably be in World Football where it will be mocked anyway.

It's football. Talented athletes kick the ball with their foot and the world watches in awe because it is the world's greatest game. FACT.

Not like those fat brutes who run into each other with no skill at all or others who do the same but have the temerity to call it football when they throw a fucking egg around.

Do they study landed fish to get those flopping around on the grounds moves so perfect, or does pretending to be hurt just come naturally for sissy's that can't play any real sport so they chance their hand at soccer?

Anyway back to the golf, I see Harrington has given Poulter the arse from this morning's foursomes but he's giving McIllroy another chance. Europe really need to get their shit together in this first session or it's curtains

Key "skills" to being a successful rugby player: be fat and enjoy a pint and a kebab.

Anyway, I'm off now- the football is on.

Harrington dropping McIlroy is a brave decision.

Whether it's the right one is another story.

Odd, the app I use showed McIlroy partnering Westwood earlier but that's changed now. Wondering if he's carrying an injury or something. But he was very ordinary yesterday.
