    Golf Swing Training

Im located roughly between the wing 23 and Nong Samrong golf courses.

Im a beginner, my swing is bad and I REALLY REALLY dont want bad habits, which is exactly what will happen
if I keep going to the range by myself.

I've watched a lot of youtubes about how to stand, holding the club, placing your
weight over your feet, drawing the club back, blah blah - its the coming down and driving through that kills me.

Does anyone know of any trainers? Someone I can pay to stand there and critique me?
    Thanks much

Sorry I don't know much about golf up that way but if there's golf courses and driving ranges, there would normally be Pro's working at them too. Next option would be to find where the local Expat golfers hang out and see if you can find a low handicapper (like 6 or less) who might want to help you out in exchange for a few beers. That 2nd option might be the better way to go if your just starting out, as it seem like you are, because they'll concentrate on making small easy to accomplish changes to your set-up and swing to get you making good contact with the ball consistently rather than trying to teach you to swing like Adam Scott.

Good luck and never forget you're trying to learn one of the hardest sports there is to become good at, it's not easy!

If you are serious about improving your game, regular sessions with a pro is the way to go. I'm less bad of a player than I used to be.

I should add that you need to find the right pro for your personality and skills. It's not one size fits all.
