The Triathlon start was a shit show, there was a boat parked right in front of the lineup that blocked half of the competitors. They had to restart.

    Not your expected Japanese efficiency...

Fucking hell snubs, beating the pikies in the rugby is a bigger upset than losing to the frogs in Netball!

I watched that and it was awesome. Great to see kids have fun and smile through the whole event, while cheering each other on. The other athletes should learn from that.

Was good to see Japan get gold in both men's and women's. The little girl that won will be a millionaire by the end of the year.

My body cringed everytime they bailed. Those kids are made out of rubber.

    Softball medal matches

After a wait of 13 years, today the first set of medals will be awarded in baseball/softball as the women's softball competition comes to a conclusion.

The bronze-medal match, featuring Mexico and Canada, is about to begin at the Yokohama Baseball Stadium.

Later tonight, USA play China for bronze.

If you’re not in the states (I think the US game will start at about 6:00pm Thai time)……………

    Get in there Japan!

TOKYO (AP) — The host country knocked off a heavyweight for Olympic gold in table tennis on Monday.
Japanese pair Jun Mizutani and Mima Ito ended China’s recent dominance in the sport by beating Xu Xin and Liu Shiwen 4-3 for the mixed doubles title. The upset comes five years after China swept all four table tennis tournaments at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Games.

A danish batminton double lost a game today.

To a couple of aussies !!!!

If they should choose to come home, they are likely to be shot in the airport.

    And rightly so.

    Scandalous
