Fantastic little stadium it is too, everyone gets a good seat and the facilities are fantastic (access, food and bev outlets, toilets, etc). Have taken my Thai missus there and she absolutely loved it, but she's a mad NRL fan and has been for ages.
Missus and SIL out the front.
Reserve grade game, I always go early to watch them and have a feed while there's almost nobody there before the 1st grade game. Steak sandwiches and chiko rolls are the go!
And David it's pointless talking to NFL (or Hockey) fans about NRL unless they've watched enough games or have actually been to a live game. At which time they all say "these guys are fucking insane!" And yeah, I've been to a Hockey games in Calgary and and NFL games in Houston to be able to compare. Don't mind Hockey because it's so fast but to be honest it's more enjoyable (to me) to watch on TV than live, that puck is moving so fast it's hard to know where it is half the time when you're at a live game but it's always visible on TV. As for NFL, I can't watch it and only ever went to live games with workmates who enjoyed it.
