Could be a helluva a game if England are on top of their game, which they should be at home and so utterly hungry to finally win a trophy in the last, what, 300 years or summit.

If Rice and Phillips are on their game the midfield battles of skill rather than brawn could be immense. As should Kane and Sterling v the CB pairing of God 1 and God 2.

Well played Denmark, excellent first goal! England couldn't turn pressure into goals in the second half and I went to bed at full-time so missed the et drama. On the whole I think England deserved to win although I've yet to see the second penalty incident. Perhaps the first one in the second half swayed the ref as it has many times before.

The way they play full frustrate England, can see tempers being raised and a lot of bookings.

Maguire and Pickford need to sort their back pass communication out, the Italians will sneak in and exploit that constant error.

You could see the quality of the two squads yesterday. Denmark made their substitutions and lost their rhythm; England made theirs and there was no discernible drop in quality. In fact, they even took one of their subs off and replaced him with another!

He doesn't exactly inspire confidence and a mistake always seems to be around the corner with him, but he's generally done well this tournament. I think most people are hoping that Henderson or Johnstone at WBA will eventually usurp him though.
