The Spanish have been the biggest failures, I haven't managed to stay awake for either of their games so far.
The French had a hard time against Hungary with strong local support and challenging heat.
The English haven't showed up yet.
The Germans have managed to creep back into their group when they should have been squashed. Now they have a damn good chance of winning the group and the cup.
The Italians and Dutch have got off to good starts, which is a bad omen. They are both due a bad game...

^ Wales to finish top of their group with a win.
Still fancy the Italians. Italy V Germany final would be good, and quite possible.
I didn’t transfer any Italians in because they are already qualified and might rest players.
I went with the Dutch to score goals for fun against Macedonia.
Kane and Mbappy out for Depay and Ronaldo.
Definitely a better watch than what happens on the pitch at most Russian games.
The Italian B team isn't looking bad.

I think you need to update your profile pic.
Good form.
Goal for Turkey, looks like Wales have bagged 2nd.
Well done Wales, getting through, although that red card takes a little bit of shine off things.
Italy b team were still too much.
Well done Italy and Wales!
After securing their progression as group runners-up, Wales will play in Amsterdam on Saturday night. They will face the runners-up from Group B - which could be Finland, Denmark, Russia or Belgium.
Group A winners Italy will play at Wembley on Saturday, and they will be up against the runners-up from Group C - which will be either Ukraine or Austria.
The Netherlands will play on Sunday in Budapest. But as their opponents will be a third-placed finisher from either Group D, E or F, they will not know their opponents until Wednesday night.
If final placings were taken now, with England second in Group D, they would face the runner-up in Group E, currently Slovakia, though Spain, Sweden or Poland could all realistically finish second.
If England were to top Group D, they would face the runner-up of Group F, currently Germany, although France, Portugal and Hungary could all still finish second.
As for Scotland, nothing less than a victory over Croatia will be sufficient for them to have any hope of making it through to the last 16.
If Scotland win and England and the Czechs draw, Scotland should go through as one of the four third-placed teams and face either Netherlands, the winner of Group E (Sweden, Slovakia or Spain) or the winner of Group B (Belgium, Russia or Finland).
Change your avatar Lulu to the team you support like the rest of us wankers.....
As long as they avoid Belgium they have a great chance to progress. After securing their progression as group runners-up, Wales will play in Amsterdam on Saturday night. They will face the runners-up from Group B - which could be Finland, Denmark, Russia or Belgium.
If England were to progress they'd have to play these teams anyway.
I've never worried about 'groups of death' etc... Germany seldom doesn't progress . . . until they get knocked out or win. (there's logic for you)
I guess what I'm saying is don't stress it -
England can possibly beat Portugal.
England can possibly beat Germany. England can . . . ok . . . never mind. I see your point.
