There aren't "real" Canadian teams in the Stanley Cup playoffs. The only real nation against nation hockey is at the Olympics (when the NHL allows their players to go), or the World Cup.
I looked at the Canadian roster for this tournament and only recognized two names.
Things are getting interesting . . .
Sweden is out . . . first time since 1937 that they haven't progressed to the second round.

The decider today . . . Latvia, Germany and Canada lost 3 out of six games. One will go through . . . on paper Germany has the 'easiest' route playing Latvia while Canada plays Finland. The Story So Far
Norway and Italy are at the bottom of their group, and their results have no material importance. At the other end, Kazakhstan’s loss yesterday leaves the door ajar for two of three teams tied for fourth place, all with nine points – Canada, Latvia, Germany.
If they both win then I guess it will come down to 'goals for'.
Re: the German/Latvia game, Latvia should be the home team although I don't know if there are any fans on site.
Well, Germany beat and Canada lost to Finland
So:
Well look who's in the final. After a slow start out of the gates Canada's B team prevails again. I might have to actually watch a game.
Canada beating the US and Russia, well done . . . Finland is no push-over, though.
Germany beating Switzerland with hopefully the US to come.
Talk about resiliency. Way to go Canada.
