    Yep they are officially shit.

They were a roaring success until SKY NZ who had a failing business model bought them out and... implemented their failing business model.

    Now, no viewing in Asia.

I got this to work after a few (maybe 10 or so) dismissing pop-ups.

They pop up when you are trying to get sound.

But it's playing in English for me now.

Mate of mine has been bringing around his box thingy* and we've been watching a live-stream direct from Sky NZ.

It has that very faint lag common with sports streams but hasn't failed or hitched once and only went down when my entire Wifi shat itself.

*Soz for the overly technical terms.

Can't remember the name either I'll check again tomorrow. Available from Lazada though.

^There's a huge choice of box thingy's that all do the same thing, the package you (or some bastard who knows what he's doing) install is what its all about though. Think of it of having an Android phone of any brand, but needing a specific App for it to do what you want it to do.

    Yeah that's the one!

Seriously though, he did mention something about an app last time--not free either B2500 if I recall correctly. Worth it though from what I've seen.

Sky Stream? Stream Sky? I'll ask again when he's back tomorrow... there were beers involved when he was here last.

^Ballpark $100 a year sounds about right for most of the streaming packages I know of, expect several thousand channels for that (2678 in mine) with every live sport channel known to man included in high quality def. I'm all for free stuff, but streaming TV packages are worth paying for.
