Sids Submarines sunk
One person has died and at least four others have been injured - some seriously - in a stabbing in a supermarket near Milan, northern Italy, reports say.
They say an employee of the Carrefour supermarket died after a man started attacking people in the town of Assago.
Among the injured was Pablo Mari, a football player on loan from Arsenal.
A 46-year-old suspect has been detained. The motive for the attack is not yet clear.
The attacker has had mental health problems, the reports in Italian media say.
Mari, a 29-year-old Spanish defender, joined Arsenal from Brazilian side Flamengo in January 2020. He has only played 19 times for the Gunners and is currently on loan with top flight Italian club Monza.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta said: "I just found out. I know Edu [Arsenal technical director] has been in touch with his relatives. He's in hospital but he seems to be okay."
In a tweet, Monza CEO Adriano Galliani said: "Dear Pablo, we are all here close to you and your family, we love you, keep fighting as you know how to do, you are a warrior and you will get well soon."
Shalom
The Gooners are holding their own against the mighty Oxford utd at the moment.

Chelsea agree £88m deal for Mykhailo Mudryk to hijack Arsenal move
Chelsea are said to be hopful of closing the deal this weekend, with Mudryk travelling to London to agree personal terms
Chelsea have made a stunning bid to hijack Arsenal’s move for Mykhailo Mudryk by flying to Turkey to agree an £88 million deal to sign the winger from Shakhtar Donetsk.
And there is strong optimism within Chelsea that they are on the brink of formally clinching the Mudryk deal, with the player travelling to London to seal personal terms and undergo a medical. The Blues are understood to have offered a contract until 2030.
While Premier League leaders Arsenal had been confident that Mudryk would hold out for a move to the Emirates, Chelsea moved at breakneck speed to agree a deal with Shakhtar and convince the 22-year-old to join them.
Chelsea are now hopeful of concluding the deal over the weekend, with one source indicating to Telegraph Sport that the Mudryk transfer was “done.”
Arsenal’s second bid for Mudryk was reported to be £62m up front, rising to between £75m and £80m, but Chelsea matched Shakhtar’s valuation after co-controlling owner Behdad Eghbali and director of global talent and transfers Paul Winstanley travelled to Turkey where Shakhtar are currently based.
Chelsea’s bid, which was accepted, was £62m up front, rising to £88m in add-ons and positive talks were held with Mudryk and his representatives.
The decision to sign Mudryk demonstrates more backing for head coach Graham Potter, with his squad currently decimated by injuries and suspensions.
Arsenal were said to be stunned by the size of Chelsea’s move but had always insisted they would not be drawn into a bidding war for Mudryk.
Chelsea had opened talks with Shakhtar over Mudryk last month with officials from the Ukrainian club attending last week’s Premier League defeat to Manchester City as guests of co-owner Todd Boehly.
The Blues had backed off making a bid for Mudryk without knowing whether or not he would join them and were reluctant to pay anywhere near Shakhtar’s asking price, despite always being confident they could outbid Arsenal.
But, having signed Joao Felix on loan last week, Chelsea decided to make a big push to try to add 22-year-old Mudryk to their squad and deal a serious blow to Arsenal.
Chelsea have also made an opening £26.5m offer for PSV Eindhoven winger Noni Madueke, with talks ongoing, and are interested in a host of midfielders including Brighton’s Moises Caicedo.
If Mudryk completes his move to Chelsea, as is now expected, it will mark the second time this month that Arsenal have lost out to their London rivals in the race for an attacker. Arsenal were also interested in signing Felix on loan from Atletico Madrid, before the forward agreed his move to Stamford Bridge.
Arsenal always ensure they have alternative options for target positions in each transfer window but there is also an acceptance within the club that the January window is a difficult time to do business.

You could do with the points today, nammers.
Because you won't be getting any next week.
We are looking at top 4, no more this year
Chelsea have completed the signing of Ukraine forward Mykhailo Mudryk from Shakhtar Donetsk in a deal worth up to £89m.
The 22-year-old has agreed an eight-and-a-half-year deal for 70m euros (£62m), plus a further 30m euros (£27m) in bonuses.
"I'm so happy to sign for Chelsea," said Mudryk.
^ deep pockets, i think he'd have been great but i'm glad we didn't overpay.
Predictions??
Kane hatric
Gooners nil points.
^ yesterdays loss is going to take time to get over, that and the fact Haaland has been worked out
Kinell.
Merson said on Sky Sports before that this would be a walkover and that next week against United would be harder.
The fuckwit might actually be right for once. Arsenal are hammering them.
We'll see, its still a young squad with just over a year under then and Jesus has forsaken them - oh speaking of which Chit do you want them back?
Looking very good at the moment.
And I'll be hoping they win the league this year and not those oil plastics from Stockport.
Spuds have been ridiculously shit though.
United's record against the top 6 from last year
Arsenal: won
Spurs: won
Liverpool: won
City: lost & won
Chelsea: drew
13 points
Arsenal
United: lost
Spurs: won
Liverpool: won
Chelsea: won
9 points (probably 12 by the end of today) and still some big games to play.
Unfortunately, I'd still plump for City for the league.

Arsenal are now odds on 4-5 favourites for the league. If they can avoid defeat in one of their 2 games with City they must surely win it.
PPppfffftttt, don't forget we've not had the Dec dip which will not happening in Feb. coz of the WC
Bookies aren't generally wrong, lump on Sid!
I reckon they've got it in the bag myself.
Peps just concerned with the Champions league now.
Forest will win the Milk Cup
Arsenal the league
City the FA cup and Champions League.
You heard it here first.
Lump on
Cyrilles Bin Dippers will not even qualify for European football next season
