Well, i expect Arse to go to sleep in the 2nd half. Great so see Em get a run in the team

    HT: Arsenal 2-0 Aston Villa

Some excellent performances out there from the home players.

Emile Smith Rowe in particular has been very impressive, getting on the ball and making more passes (34) than any other Gunners player.

To think, Aston Villa tried to buy him in the summer as well. Bet they wish they had got him.

Arsenal were the better side for long periods last night, especially in the first half. To be fair to Arteta, and Cy who called it a few weeks ago, it looks like he is finally starting to turn things round (last time I said this about him though, they didn't win for another 6 months ).

Exactly. But the FA will no doubt be doing their best to hide the scandal of the Plastics paying off officials.

Next year Rodders he'll be playing for Newcastle.

Will he stay or will he go?

Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr have made an offer to take Arsenal outcast Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on loan.

Striker Aubameyang has not played for the Gunners since 6 December and was stripped of the club captaincy after a disciplinary breach the following week.

He has returned to London having been sent home early from the Africa Cup of Nations after scans revealed "heart lesions" following a bout of Covid.

Al-Nassr want Aubameyang, 32, on loan with the option of a permanent deal.
