Giants pitching really tanked today. Littel sucks ass and has. Not sure why Kapler brought in Leone. He has also struggled. Should have brought in Garcia or Alvarez.

    Back to LA we go.

Kapler managed the team to 107 wins. The most in the entire history of the franchise. To think we might have won all 162 games if we had an armchair manager like Stumpy. Damn out of luck this year.

Hey AO, I couldn't be happier as a Giants fan. The bar is set high now. I know we can't win them all but if you follow and watch the games like I do, Leone and Littel have not done well in reliever roles over the last 3 weeks, especially Littel and he came in and got clobbered again for 3 runs. Gausman did really well.

But stumpy as Satchel Paige said. "Dont look back they might be gaining on you". Lets let Kap manage the team. We won nearly all the games at the end and being a relief pitcher is rough. I too cringe sometimes when I see Rodgers going in late and with men on the bases. Lets just enjoy this run.

Cheers AO and SK. My Dad and I are committed fans and have been for what seems like forever. Went to hundreds of games over the years together. Saw some great games and incredible players.

Sad to see the Rays go. Their team is built from within like the Giants. But we roll on. Game 3 of 5, 1-0 Giants now up 2 games to one. Brandon Crawford took flight to grab this liner and save the game.

You are too complacent AO. Unacceptable loss. The key hitting that won us the divisional title went on holiday. Today 14K's out of 38 at bats (Over 35%). Good ol PH Whfferson (Dickerson) has struck out 13 out of his last 17 at bats. What was Kapler thinking using him?...A prayer perhaps? Yaz 0 for 12, Flores 1 for 9.

I am a Giants Fan through and through and you cannot win 107 games and lose in the play offs.

That said, On to NFL and the Golden State Warriors look good in pre season.

Well you dont know sport or baseball. Most wins ever by a Baseball major league club 116. Seattle Mariners, got nothing in the end. Most ever in the NBA 73-9, sadly that team went on to lose in the NBA finals. We had a great run, but were simply beaten by a better club in the long run. I fucking hate the Dodgers but they won and have a good chance to take it all. That being said I hope the Braves knock them out next series. How many years did you play baseball for?

Again. You appear more impressed by stats then winning championships. All good. I am disappointed and expected more. You can be content with 107 wins and watch the Dodgers in the next round.. Me....I close the books. Won't watch another game.

Additionally. I played Little league and was on a team that won 2 championships. I was pitcher and 3rd base. High-school played 3rd base. Never won a championship but did make divisional once. Played a bit of Pony league after but college got me busy. Also played high school Football for all 4 years. I know the competive sports well. Losing sucks. But we move on

Ya know AO. Having played in competitive sports most of my life, that year the Warriors lost wasn't about the better team IMHO. Fkn Green set the entire outcome with his BS with that LeBron stunt. The momentum shifted and because he was suspended the team was challenged to adapt. I think Green is a key component but at the same time I think he is as much a detriment to the team as he is a positive. I hope the punt the loud mouth soon.

Pity you never learned to accept a loss Stumpy. We will be better next year built from within. Not put together at mid season like the Dodgers. They are gonna lose a lot of guys to the big $$$. Be angry and indignant. I will leave with this.

Did your ever play AO? I doubt it based in your comments. Seriously... accept losing a championship game after having the best record in MLB? Sure after a bit the sting goes away and you move on but losing.... naaah. NEVER!!!

And yes. I cannot stand the Dodgers. I was assaulted after the loss by all my LA friends. Most laughed at how we struck out and I couldn't argue their point. The Giants stunk up the bay as my Pops said.

Hats off to Webb, Duval, Mcgee, Posey, Belt, late night Lanont etc. They played a great season. They fell short when it mattered and trust me when I say none of them are happy right now.

Gotta cheer on Freddie Freeman and the Braves at this point!

Thank fookin' Buddha my identity isn't tied to whether my favorite team wins or loses.

Yes. Many actually. Sky diving, cliff diving, archery etc. But that said, maybe those would be better classified as activities. We Americans tend to generally call them sports.
