Good for you!! Look at the National League west. SF Giants 83-44 the best record in ball. What a year, we were predicted to win perhaps 70.

No kidding the Fodgers are on a 10-1 run, we are still 2.5 games up. They are kicking the Padres ass each game. The Padres stink after the all star break. Just stay cold Friar boys, we have 9 games in the last 17 vs them to end the year. Crazy schedule year. Oh yeah Duck the Fodgers!!

^ Concur … fook the Dogglers … old man Pujols over there trying to sneak in another ring. Guy needs to retire. Sacrificed a career .300 average hanging in there too long.

    .

So you prefer the Houston Cheaters to the Giants? Whoa big mistake. Giants 90-50 first team to 90 wins and 40 games over 500. I dont even check the Cheaters score unless they are playing the Giants.

Go Giants … win that division over the Dodgers.

Ur boyz gotta 2.5 game lead with 17 to go and already locked into the play-offs.

Mariners will finish over .500 but still not good enough to beat the Yankees, Red Sox and Houston. Just about everybody else in the AL though.

It's gonna be a long battle to the end of season. Giants can't slip. Dodgers pitching core just to damn good.

Small slip today, but after 9 straight wins you kind of expect it. But the Fodgers did not lose. 1.5 now, with 16 left. Nail biting time.

Disappointing though AO was every pitcher today was awful. Odd to have a bullpen game and they all suck.

Yeah this is gonna be a tough run to the end. We have Atl coming up, the Dodgers have Reds. Giants have struggled with Atl. Crazy to have 2 teams in same division nearing 100 wins each battling it out.

He is a good skipper, I think. The Mariners were a mess when he came on now they have one of the deepest minor league farm systems in baseball. Not to mention, the team is loaded with young talent and has next to no payroll.

I have to switch over to another Florida team. Marlins are 16 games behind

Tampa Bay Rays clinch 2021 postseason berth

The Tampa Bay Rays have clinched a berth in Major League Baseball’s postseason for a third consecutive season, the longest such streak in franchise history, and an accomplishment not every franchise can boast.

The Rays are the first American League team and fourth major league team to clinch a trip to the 2021 postseason, following the San Francisco Giants, Los Angeles Dodgers and Milwaukee Brewers.

The Rays currently lead the AL East by 6.5 games over the Boston Red Sox and are attempting to win the fourth division title in franchise history (2020, 2010, 2008), including a second consecutive division title for the first time.

Baseball is a game where you need to know the players and the game to get excited over it, otherwise it can get very boring IMO.
Back in the day as a kid, we used to ride our bikes to Shea stadium and watch every game for free, we knew every player , some of them personally because they used to talk to us as they arrived.
I knew that Mookie Wilson would take a big lead when on first, and would certainly try to steal second. Especially id the Pitcher had a big windup. He would dive back to first and have to take the dirt our of his pants LOL
I knew when Dave Kingman (What a nice guy, always stopped to talk to us kids) was on deck we will run to the left field foul pole , He was certain to put a few foul balls there, and we were ready to catch them, LOL.
Now days I have no idea who is who and what is what. I am asleep by the fourth inning.
The sooner you fall behind, the more time you have to catch up.

I am a great fan of sleeping, I participate every chance I get
Judging from the SF standings on page one of this thread, I would say that's the SF bat signal trying to get the SF Giants to show up.

I look at one of their players stats every day … former Mariner Mike Zunino. He’s also having a career year for home runs. Think he has 31 which is dang near half his hits this year. Too bad he’s barely a .200 hitter.

Best record in all baseball. Out of the blue, true team play. 99-53 the Fodgers are 97-55 so we are 2 games up with 10 left to play.
