I wouldn't worry, there's fuck all worth seeing, just skidmark cutting and pasting his latest opinion off Twatter.

Top pic , you can see daylight between the end plate and wing, air going around instead of over the wing.. Plus you can see the end most part of the wing is bent backwards at speed

^ That gap you see will be increasing turbulence and therefore drag. Mercedes will need to fix that to increase their straight line speed.

Meanwhile the real issue is the alleged increased gap between the upper and lower aerofoils which is reducing the drag to increase speed. However, current static tests have passed so they will need to change the tests and give the constructors a couple of weeks notice so they can conform to the new tests. All rather reminiscent of Red Bull and Spain really...

    Oddly, skid hasn't mentioned Spain....

Toto 'Volfe bragging about "spicy engines". What a fucking piece of shit. Dragging Christian Horners wife into it. Just imagine Horner was the one who said something about Totos wife. He would be called a sexist misogynist cvnt. But because Toto is on Hamiltons side, and Hamilton is on the far left SJW spectrum , everyone just laughs about it.

Next weekend's battle will be between the spicy engine and the Red Bull rebore.

found this quote from Toto Wolff end of October: https://www.racefans...he-title-fight/

    Quote

The power unit penalties system exists to discourage teams from plugging fresh hardware into their cars every race at gigantic costs. F1 power units are therefore designed to perform for thousands of kilometres instead of a few hundred.

While the potential implications for the title fight are undesirable, the system is an effective deterrent to sky-rocketing engine expenditure according to Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff.

“The penalty system on power units is pretty robust because what we need to avoid is that we are building power units in a way that they perform at peak performance for only a few races,” he said.

    RIP Sir Frank Williams.

A genius of the sport, took a small team in a double unit in an industrial estate in Didcot, with a young designer called Patrick Head, and parlayed it into seven drivers championship and nine constructors titles.

Broke his back rushing for a plane he didn't need to, because he'd mixed up time zones, which left him in a wheelchair for life, but it never daunted him.

    He'll be missed throughout motorsport.

Be interesting to see if this works well enough for it to be considered in F1 the season after.

    From Formula E testing:

The day concluded with a qualifying simulation, allowing drivers and teams to get to grips with the new format of Groups and head-to-head ‘knockout’ Duels that will be introduced in 2021/22.

The Williams' will have a tribute in the livery this weekend.

Also, F1 will pay tribute with some kind of ceremony.

Means something to Saudi Arabia as well, his first wins were in Saudia colours.

    Well that's bad timing.

Williams CEO and Team Principal Jost Capito has tested positive for Covid-19 ahead of this weekend's inaugural Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.

    Brundle:

New Jeddah F1 track is going to significantly reward the brave and accurate. Multiple series of very high speed corners between walls where there’ll absolutely be no small accidents. 27 turns of which about 14 will be recognised by an F1 car, but there’s peril everywhere https://twitter.com/MBrundleF1/status/1466378913639239685/photo/1

The country is full of sand. They could have vast runoff areas everywhere. All those walls won't make for a great race, imho.

Surprisingly incident-free FP1. Usual suspects at the front with little between them.

Pepe Le Pew has made a right mess of his Ferrari. The safety technology is amazing. Put the car in the barriers at 150mph and just climbed out.

FP2 ended and no practice starts.

I wonder if the Ferrari mechanics get overtime?

Sir Lewis and Valtteri top the charts - on mediums.

Long runs over, Mad Max set the fastest time on softs, Sir Lewis behind him set his fastest on hards.

    Both being cagey I reckon.

There are some real concerns about Qualifying with cars on hot laps coming up on slow cars in warm downs on blind corners.

Especially as it seems the Saudi marshals don't know what they are doing. They should have handed the marshalling to the Bahrainis.

Bottas changed his PU after FP3. That must have been some work.

And then it spluttered to a halt.

Mad Max hits the wall effectively giving pole to Sir Lewis.

    Mercedes front row.

And if he's dented the gearbox he'll get a grid penalty.

The stewards looked at Mazepin almost rear-ending Hamilton and decided to take no action - but extended the time teams can appeal.

What price Whinger Spice being on the radio to the stewards right now?

    1 Sir Lewis
    2 Valtteri
    3 Mad Max
    4 Pepe
    5 Perez
    6 Gasly

Verstappen was two tenths up going into that final corner. He could have taken it easy, but wouldn't have known that.

Race time 21:30 Thailand tomorrow. I think there will be more drama before it starts.

It seems Marzipan on a flying lap nearly took out Lewis after a blind corner. Lewis didn't know because the team didn't tell him so the team collectively was penalised. Highlights the issue.
