Driver of the Day for Fernando and a podium as well. Good effort.
On to Jeddah, a long, skinny and no doubt extremely pacy track.
Pirelli better have answers to those hards!
Max gets 2nd and fastest lap after getting docked at the start. It cost Max the win. The illegal Merc engine was sitting in the garage. Max could have won on the start.
Still could have been way worse. Bottas DNF, I'll take that
And the best bit is that Horner has been dragged in for a bollocking for gobbing off about the marshalls.
Sweet, I would love it if they banned him from the pit wall or something.
Wait till he hears Toto is going to put the Brazil engine back in for Saudi.
The next post may be brought to you by my little bitch Spamdreth
This is brilliant looking track. It's probably got about 20,000 people working shift on it right now.

So whinger spice grovelled an apology to the marshals.
And Max doesn't want to talk about stewards any more since they've stopped doing him favours.
They can feel that hot Hamilton breath on the back of their necks.
Now even Merc shills are admitting that there is something "special" about the Brazil engine
This was Hamiltons chance to put the dagger in with Max getting a grid drop. And with no fastest lap and Bottas DNF, they failedThey can feel that hot Hamilton breath on the back of their necks.
Lewis can only do what he can do, in this case go out and win. Yet again, Bottas failed to do what he needed to do. He can be very quick but so many race days he hasn't been there.
If Lewis made a mistake this week it was being too fast, allowing Max so much space in front of Alonso that Max could take free pit stops and pretty much gift him fastest lap.
All to play for in the last two races.
And well done Alonso. He is one of the great drivers and good to see him bring it home for a podium finish.
You can't really blame Bottas for one of several unexpected tyre failures.
It was fucking funny when Damon told whinger spice that Toto had said he was bringing the "spicy engine" to Saudi Arabia.
Talk about a face like a smacked arse!
To be fair, Bottas seems to have more than his share of bad luck. However, this time he went backwards at the start and didn't wake up until Toto gave him a verbal kicking. Maybe if he had held station from the start his race would have looked very different.
Why was Bottas retired? It either wasn't reported or I missed it. I expected MB to keep him out on new softs at the end to cover off Max's fastest lap.
Lando seemed to know when he had a tyre problem. Others just found out when they fell apart. For all the technology and the people live monitoring tyres I thought it strange to see one car after another having the same problem.
My only concern in the next two races (other than something out of the teams control) is if Mad Max tries to pull a Schumacher on Sir Lewis.
I hope the stewards have learned their lesson.
What a legend.
Hamilton's 102nd career win tonight means that as an individual he's won more races than every nation on earth except Germany (179) and Great Britain (306).
You can see some light between the end plate and the wing curl. So some air is going around the wing instead of over it. Is it legal ? Dont know yet
Hopefully there will be some consideration in the paddock this week with the news that Ginger Spice's brother has died after a short illness aged 54.
Christian Horner lives rent free , in Hamilton fanbois heads
