Surprised to read that was only the 10th GP in history with not a single DNF.

This is what you actually said Backspin. Not mentioned as a joke and no smiley, so I suspect you are lying again.
The chassis are supposedly identical, but with such fine production margins, Bottas probably asked for it to be changed periodically.
Didn't make the slightest difference to his performance compared to Hamilton. Bottas should be negotiating for a seat in another team for next season. The problem is, he’s not a number one driver, and he insists on fucking up number 2 in a very good team with a great car.

Certainly hope so. Don't have a particular fav so a nail biter to the end as Sunday's is always welcome no matter who wins.

Hamilton did as good as possible. Red Bull just too good for them.

They could have pitted Bottas with the RB cars but then Hamilton wouldn't have made the podium.

Also the first 3 race stretch where Hamilton didn't win since 2019. I picked a good few years to not pay too much attention to F1.

    Mercedes downfall has begun

Why do you think the teams practice sessions run both with qualifying set ups and race set ups. This allows them to use the cars to best advantage in qualifying, and different set ups for the duration of the race.

If you had any knowledge of the sport at all, you might understand this. It is frequently discussed by teams and commentators during practice and qualifying. It is public knowledge at a very basic level, yet it seems to have passed you by, as usual.

That does not change the fact that you believed that a chassis swap left Hamilton with inferior machinery, you dolt.
The pit stop strategy was finely balanced, and could have gone either way. On this occasion, Red Bull had a very good driver, and the strategy advantage appeared very late in the race.

Is that really all you’ve got? An insult and an autocorrect. Nothing substantial except your invalid personal opinion. You worked so hard to establish your reputation as a drunk and a nonentity. Try again you silly person.

Still don't understand what "parc ferme" means I see.

Let me explain it for you.

There is no longer "race trim", I think you've been away for a while.

All they can tweak is the tyres and engine modes.

The car cannot be "setup" differently from the time they leave the pits for Q1 to the time they line up on the grid.

    Do you understand now?

I am aware that any car that finishes outside the top ten in qualifying can choose which ever tyres they want. I know what Parc ferme is, and the teams produce different results from longer runs, compared to qualifying runs, with variable settings during practice. Hence the term race trim, which has evolved over time.
Sorry if it offends your sensibilities, or if I have used a term you are not familiar with.
I have only seriously followed F1 since the early 70s and enjoyed James Hunts win in 76.

Snubby might like to remind himself that, on this forum, reputation is like virginity. He can only lose it once.

I have not back pedaled at all.

You follow Ferrari because they enjoyed sone success with German drivers recently. You support Haas because they are an American company. No problem with that.

You posted drunken diatribe and apologize when you sober up. Well done.

Other than that, you have a tattered reputation, and that makes you unfit to criticize anyone, least of all, me.

You are not a sports fan at all. You are a halfwit xenophobe.

As you are not a car enthusiast. To you, F1 is just some shit British sport like darts and cricket. You are an utter buffoon who has no idea what he has talking about, and you have consistently stepped on your own small penis.
