See, if they'd had proper hospitality, I probably would have gone and Alonso would have won.

A stray sandwich wrap that became lodged in the brake ducts of Fernando Alonso’s Alpine car caused his retirement on his race return to F1 at the Bahrain GP.

Sandwich bag ended Alonso’s F1 comeback race in Bahrain

Red Flags in both sessions, a breakdown for Mad Max and Pepe Le Pew parked his shiny Ferrari in the barriers.

Mercedes enjoyed a one-two in second practice at Imola while Red Bull’s Max Verstappen suffered a stoppage that ended his session just 10 minutes in, leaving Valtteri Bottas fastest by 0.010s ahead of Lewis Hamilton.

Red Bull’s progress was halted on Friday afternoon as Verstappen began lapping at competitive pace, but then crawled to a stop as he said “something broke” 10 minutes into the hour. A brief Virtual Safety Car period followed to recover his car and he ended up 14th fastest.

That left FP1 leader Bottas out front again, his medium-tyred benchmark of 1m15.511s enough to beat soft-tyred Hamilton by 0.010s for FP2 supremacy. Behind them was Pierre Gasly for AlphaTauri, just 0.078s off Bottas's pace.

Ferrari initially enjoyed their return home as Carlos Sainz finished fourth and Charles Leclerc fifth quickest – until Leclerc crashed to bring out a red flag at the final corner to end the session early with three minutes remaining.

Can anyone tell me of a reliable way to watch F1 in Thailand?
I have tried doing it on the cheap and previously used some dodgy feed that I paid for, I think it was UPTV? Anyway, that semed to disappear a couple of years back.
Last year someone recommended Live NetTV which did seem to work most of the time. This year it is a complete waste of space. Last night I saw maybe a dozen 2-second bursts of live action in an hour of trying.
There is no cable where I live, I rely on True via a sim card router. I went to a couple of True shops, they can talk about football but know nothing about F1 and act as if it is impossible to find out.
A friend paid for the F1 off the F1 website and was disappointed to discover that F1 Live is not actually live video, only live data. Which is frankly less engaging.
So what choices do I have?

For the past 5 or 6 years, I've been using Pulse. Excellent range of Channels (every UK channel you can think of, including all of the Sky ones). Has 'chat' support during normal working hours, and comes in at 10,000 baht a year. Can have it on up to 4 devices (I have a box for the main TV, on my computer, on my phone, one spare). 24 hour catch up on every channel, and specifically what you are looking for, Sky F1 HD is as good as it gets.

Oh, has a huge movie and TV series library also.

Just pulled up yesterday's race, and took this:

There are two boxes under the TV, the one on the left is Pulse, on the right Apple TV.

Thanks, I shall investigate. It looks like I'll have to spend some money. Probably still cheaper than driving to the bar and spending dosh then driving home late and well-watered on a regular basis.

Green owed. I can't seem to green anyone at the moment.

That seems a pricey option. Also, you want to run something like Analiti on your phone to make sure you have a solid enough signal to stream.

If you don't then you're fucked anyway.

Added: PAG is that really the price for 149 channels?

Always the priority for me is that it works consistentlly. Virtually every channel is in HD, and re cost, my comparison would be True which is more than double the cost and abysmal content. Even the "Box Office" events such as boxing are shown live and without extra cost. I find even with 4G on my phone rather than wifi it still works with negative buffering. I think there's a minimum 3 Mps requirement, though as I have fibre in the house that isn't an issue.

I have decidedly average Wifi in the hotel, but it was still able to stream the footy and F1 simultaneously.

But I've found the mobile data is decidedly iffy when it starts to piss down, which it did last night with some zeal.
