In fairness it does provide some watchable competition on all three race days, which can't be a bad thing.

Well Sir Lewis takes pole. This weeks upgrades have certainly worked. Would have crushed Mad Max if he hadn't slalomed through Vale, he's probably not used to the car giving that much power.

So Sir Lewis has pole for the Sprint Race. He sounds really pleased with the car.

Hats off to George Lewis and the Williams team, they are doing a fantastic job as well.

Sainz fucked up a 2nd row chance by exceeding track limits.

Well a dismal start from Sir Lewis was only compounded by the fact that he still has a 0.2-0.3s deficit in race pace with Mad Max.

The big loser was Perez who nearly put his Red Bull in the wall and ended behind even the two hapless Haas cars.
