Real bummer I missed the pumas beat the blacks. Like everyone else, I thought it was a foregone conclusion.

^^ 555 Canterbury avoids relegation and the cherry on top is beating Dorkland.

    ^They take that shit serious

100% true story, I had a very close Kiwi mate in Pattaya (now deceased from cancer ) and something like 20 years ago the All Blacks got beaten in a World Cup match which meant they were out of the tournament. My mate - who was otherwise a clever and quite normal guy - declared that the entire team and staff should have their Passports revoked and NOT be allowed to enter NZ again, ever. Me trying to tell him that it was just a game and they'd done their best but got beaten by a better team on the day was not to be entertained, he was never going to change his mind and as far as he was concerned they were all outcasts

Perfectly reasonable and even, arguably, a light punishment.

Yes, I almost agree wholeheartedly on this one. Also, their eyes should have been gouged out with red hot pokers.

Picking a winner in the Wallabies-Pumas game is too risky

Saturday will the 33rd encounter between the two teams. Australia have generally done well against Argentina, winning 14 of the 16 games played at home and eight of the 13 played in Argentina.

The Wallabies have won all three games played at neutral venues.

Australia with 62 % possession, wind at their back in the 2nd half and up 15-6, lucky to get away with a draw ...

It was a Northen Hemisphere style of kicking game. So you'd know. No tries scored, but Aussies were damn close with an attempt spoiled with a foot on the deadball line as the ball was being grounded. (Though I suspect that ball was touching the line also)

But this game was anything but boring.

One problem, and the media will highlight later, is that the Puma's a playing silly nagging games, slapping players (like they did last week in NZ), pulling hair of opposition players, holding & jamming the ball in the ruck, tlaking back the ref. Just shitty rugby play designed to frustrate teams. It upset the All Blacks, but I reckon the wounded Kiwi's will return like a bat out of hell next week and smash the dirty latino bastards to kingdom come and back.

Also worked for the Aussies a couple of weeks ago against the ABs. Almost like the video anal-lists have picked out who to target for a response (esp Looking at you Dane Coles). Could also be the shortened season and lockdown frustration that has condensed the passion/aggression into the small space that is 2020s rugby window.
Some people think it don't, but it be.
