    Flippers and spinners

What sort of flippers are people using?

I've just lost an old trusty pair of leaderfins so need a replacement. Used them for snorkeling.

Also can I combine threads? Started fishing and need some advice on spinner baits. Who has experience with spinners? What's the best position for them on the line?

Was big into snorkeling years back but not now. My son is and says his flippers are great. Mares brand.

FINS! Divers are very picky about the terminology. Always fins.

Choice will depend on whether you wear booties and need a strap at the heel or for lighter use you can get full-foot fins. I used both, the former for diving and the latter for pool training. Outside a pool it is too easy to get sand in the full-foot pocket and that can be really uncomfortable.
If you are using them a lit it is worth looking at the split fin design which is becoming more popular.
As to brands, most of the major brands make good quality fins. Mares, Aqua Lung, Scubapro and others.
Best to buy from a dive shop so that you can make sure that foot pocket suits you for size and shape.

    That's very interesting indeed.

Maybe this is where I have been going wrong? In the past I've had spinners in many positions, although on the top seemed to be best visually for spinning.

Its a fair cop. I like Fins as well, although technically there is a difference between a Fin and a Flipper. I seem to recall that a flipper is easier to slip into?

Don't see the relevance to the thread, Norts me old mucka. Are either of these fine specimens involved in flippers and spinners?

Salt water pool but I think it is to salty for fresh water fish but not salty enough for sea living fish? Hmm not sure.
