I know the story why he left NZ. Steve Tew was the culprit. It is shameful why he is not part of the AB's now.

All I can say is that it's over a disagreement over a certain situation. Tew apparently told Rennie that he would never go anywhere in NZ rugby. So Rennie did what anybody would do, gave Tew the big "fuck you" and took the Aussie job. Tew resigned this year. He was told to leave. This is also not hearsay IMO. It is from somebody at board level. (and has no reason to bullshit)

You and me and a lot of others, it's always the most watched sport (or anything) on TV in Oz each year by far. A yawnion game like today will have less people watching than Step Outside With Paul Burt, seriously. Nobody gives a fuck, it's dead.

Yea, the state of origin is now the only RL I find worth watching . . . and domestic Union is a dying spectator sport both in Oz and here in NZ. The advantage Union has is the international game . . . which is thrilling.

Having said that . . . we need this:

^Could be worse, how would you like to be a soccer supporter in that part of the world trying to convince people that clusterfuck of a game with people flopping about like landed fish is exciting

Just out of interest how much is Rugby Pass? It's included in the IPTV package I pay about 3000 Baht a year for, along with (currently) another 2799 channels from around the world including every live sports that exists and all PPV events in HD.

great game so far.bit unlucky were the ABS,40miutes and just when the auz's thought it was safe to go for a piss ABS.dropped the ball over the gain line.
prepare for a cracking second half, with the ABS' taking their feet off the brakes.

$20USD per month or they have a cheaper deal for 12mths, $199 I think??

Anyways what a end to the game that was! ABs should’ve won it but Aussie played the better rugby on the balance of it

    But hoooooollllllllyyyyyyy fuck.

    What. A. Game.

full of errors on both sides, but full of heart, grit and passion.

    A monster of a game.

I think it was Honey who said they should not think of it as a draw, they should think of it as a loss, go away and dismantle what they did wrong and how to fix it. (she was referring to NZ, but Aussies gotta think that way too, I was pissed when O'Connor kicked it into touch at the 89' minute to end the game and seal the draw, but it was the right decision under pressure in our 22 with the AB baying for blood.

We had our cahnces and missed them.

That was absolutely hilarious. Crowd at my local were laughing their tits off. That rinse & repeat shampoo league shit can fuck right off. I was wondering who the "me me me" LatinKaren was that kicked it out at the end.

What a killjoy. It was the sensible thing to do, but I was so much enjoying the comedy of errors.

Wobblies should have won as Ioane's foot was on the line, as in - out.

Try disallowed - Wobblies win. Hometown rulings, eh!

So this is completely random, but former All Blacks Sevens player / captain Lote Raikabula came to my home Fri and then back on Sat to watch the first half of the rugby.

He would've stayed for the whole game but the Chairman of the Thai Rugby Union kept calling to ask where he was because he'd told him he was going to get a coffee.
