Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes says he's out of concussion protocol

The QB added that he's been evaluated by three doctors this week as he made his way through concussion protocol. He was listed without a game designation in the Chiefs' injury report Friday, clearing his return for the conference title matchup.

You win the gutter bowl for sure.. Better stick to other subjects than sport. Especially American sport. Keep to your slot track racing and your midget hero.

the current forecast calls for a temperature of 29 degrees at kickoff (3:05 p.m. Et), with 2-4 inches of snow overnight that's expected to clear up prior to the start of the game.

Fuck I hope that turns out to be wrong. I want snow during the game. Nothing like a January playoff game in the snow.

Would be nice if Ray didn't make this personal and included my picks from last week and the recent two games on the week-end in the Tally ... thanks.

How much are the Chiefs going to win by?

The bookies say 3.5 but I reckon at least 10.

Kansas City Chiefs outside linebackers coach Britt Reid, the son of head coach Andy Reid, was involved in a multicar crash Thursday night that has left a 5-year-old child with life-threatening injuries, according to a team statement and the police report.

If merit, is a euphemism for nepotism, then yes, he got it on merit.

Not when it's a case of creating jobs for family.

Most NFL teams carry 8-9 linebackers on the roster, and that doesn’t include the practice squad.
NFL play books are often compared to the size of a phonebook, and it’s not unusual to have up to 100 passing plays, and 20 running plays for any given game. I know it seems bloated, but they need a coach for every position.

Yes, but this is a coach for outside linebackers only, it seems.

Thread was ruined weeks ago by a drunken redcoat raid. Nothing to see here now.

Every position has its own coach that focuses on specific technique and execution for that specific position. It is all drilled down to a science and as BB has mentioned very complex. All game tape for example is studied in depth by players and coaches to identify flaws in technique which is then addressed in the week between games. It is always on going and never ends.
