Not sure really. When I think of him all I see is what a wasted career and all the money he threw away. Dk Metcalf has really taken over the offense this season and having another big fast receiver is going to pay dividends for sure. Seahawks defense has turned the corner as well. We have the most sacks in the NFL over the last 4 games. Looks like we are going to make the run this year. Knock on wood.

first round fantasy pick next year for sure.

and yeah, at worst, gordon is a speedy decoy.
and if he relapses, they'll just cut him.

they're my DST in one of my leagues.

i was watching a game the other morning (night in the US), and it's amazing to me how we've become accustomed to the fluorescent in their uniforms. a few short years ago it was outrageous...and now it's just part of their colors.

Exactly. Really just insurance adding him but lets face it this offense already is potent as hell.

SF Niners are 5-6 and lucky to be there with injuries. Really got hit this year, but a big win over the Rams last week helped us. Now we have to go and have our home in Arizona due to Santa Clara county for the next 3 weeks. Big game Monday night against Buffalo. This will be the game we have with the most starters playing since game 1.

Those neon uniforms are kinda cool.

    they're a good team when they're whole.
if they somehow make the playoffs, every other team is going to at least a little bit scared of them.

no dog in this fight, but IMO they definitely could if kittle returns at more than 80%.
especially if seattle rests their starters in week 17.

Will you be using the same money as you did last year when the NFC West championship was played in Seattle? Who won? We had some virtual bet I cant remember going.

Now after Buffalo we have 2 patsy"s thank goodness. Dallas and the Washington Football Team. So it will be a good Monday night game vs Buffalo I hope. Mostard, Aiyuk and Samuels will all start together for the first time this year. Add Kittle to that and.. Maybe squeak in. But will have to beat both the Seahawks and the Cards to do it.

For good or bad Jimmy G could be back for the last couple of games along with Kittle.

Losing Nick Bosa and Salomon Thomas our best two defensive linemen for the year in game 2 was rough.

It went down to one play at the goal line.

Fair enough. You still hold the "trump" card in Russell Wilson. Its that simple.

The Monday night game for the Niners just got bigger. Upsets this weekend. Cards lose to Rams to go 6-6, Seahawks somehow lost to the Giants, now 8-4. Niners win Monday back in the hunt for the playoffs at 6-6.

Yes a cracker of a game. Real shootout in the 4th with Mayfield leading the way. But out of the tunnel in the 4th comes Lamar Jackson. Got an IV fill up as I understand it. Lead them to the win. Made me see the Niners really need a new qb.

Ya that was a barn burner of a game for sure. Seahawks back on track blowing out the Jets.

Amongst other things. Earlier I predicted the whiners would finish 7-9, but I think it will be more likely 6-10 or 5-11. The possibility of them finishing the season on a 5 game skid is real.

they could send him back to NE and maybe pick up a player and a draft pick.

but then who would take his spot?

sam darnold if the jets can convince lawrence to come to NY?
matt ryan to reunite with shanahan?
it's a pretty good draft class...but it's obviously a crap shoot the lower you draft....the kid from BYU might still be available.

but let's be fair...garoppolo was injured, so IMO the niners should probably give him another shot next year. if it doesn't work out, trade him.

He's breaking records almost every game now too. Depending on how the Seahawks play out the rest of the season, it's between him and Russell Wilson. That suits me fine because I'm a Packers fan first and Seahawks second. Would be good to see them meet up in the playoffs again to settle it.

Not this year its not. Russell is great and I would love him as my quarterback. But this year he started off hot as heck, then went into a turnover stage, and is now coming out of it. You dont win MVP with stats like this.

    • YDS
      3,685
      Tied-3rd

    • TD
      36
      2nd

    • INT
      12
      Tied-32nd

    • QBR
      71.5

He doesn't have to be the best quarterback to win MVP. It's about how valuable he is to his team.

Agreed, but I really dont see the Seahawks going far in the playoffs. Green Bay and KC will go further so you will be seeing more of Rodgers and Mahomes. Watch out for Baltimore to catch fire after that comeback win orchestrated by Jackson.
