Arse gone with Smith-Rowe and Saka up front with Lacazette, no Auba on the bench even - has to go this summer. Another Ozil wanker.

Arse are a better team with the youngsters in, would love to see Marinelli in as well, Saka must stay and a future captain.

The assist and goal from Cavani for the first 2 goals.

Both just sublime one touch pass/finish.

What a(nother) player and signing he is. Just hope can convince him to stay one more year away from his family. Has OGS made a poor signing yet?

    A great, strong result.

Brilliant, mate. The first was football-spunk-heaven.

It's a big step for us to get to a final after so many stutters - presuming we do - and in the 2nd half we were head and shoulders above. We need to learn that winning mentality that the likes of Keane had.

Never say never of cousre and an early goal/sending off next week would change the face of the game plus they'll draw courage from Barca a few years ago...

    ...but we'll score over there.

    Ooops! Nearly forgot: Hal knows.

Word on the street is that Edinson has alreday made his mind up and is off back home, but what a great OLEgend signing he has been and what a way it would be for him to sign off at the greatest club in the world.

A world class striker - Haaland, Kane... signed in the summer would be massive for the team and fantastic progression on the way to where they should be. Seeing Cavani this season just shows that with Martial, Greenwood and Rashford (all better coming in from out wide) that a world class number 9 combining with Bruno is just different level.

Not completely inconceivable for all English finals in both competitions this year (Man City v Chelsea/Man United v Arsenal), or at least both Manchester clubs taking their respective titles.

Can't see it, not with Arse and their defence - its painful to watch. Its been a problem for 10 years now and i have to question what these highly paid managers, coaches and other backroom staff get paid for if they can't produce a defence that's better than a Sunday league team. It would be comedy gold if i didn't support them, but thanks for your optimism PAG

The nadir was still under Wenger, when Steve Bould was his assistant.

I see he's now head coach of the U-23s.

Clearly has a job for life, no matter how poorly he does it.

At least there's one thing he's good at.

^ it just staggers me how they can't address it, three managers. Wenger spent most of his last 5 years buying midfielders and mediocre ones at that. Still when you are at the bottom there's only one way to go.......it can't get worse in the Championship.

Stupidly West Brom took on Kieran Gibbs, who hasn't been good enough to keep his place.

    No further comment needed, really.
