Having watched all these dodgy handball decisions all weekend, it is clear the that PGMOL have left the handball rule deliberately vague (or their interpretation thereof) and thus are clear to assist the big teams as before.

Merchandise United were always the kings of getting penalty decisions in their favour.

Refs were/are probably scared of the manager running to the FA to get them removed from fixtures.

They aren't called the Moaners for nothing.

    31 minutes.

A case in point right there with the ball striking Eric Dier's hand obviously completely without his intent as the ball came from behind his back.

    A penalty.

The head of IFAB is apparently that twot David Ellary.

    Anyway, tough shit Jose.

    Interview should be good.

I can't wait to hear what Moronho has to say about that one. That's if he wants to talk to the cameras at all.

But the offside.... FFS they draw these lines arbitrarily on a picture so fucking blurred you can't tell the difference between a head, a hand and a foot.

They seem to have responded to the criticism of the crap decisions of last season by now insisting the ref goes and looks at the monitor every time.

That was almost Moaners-esque VAR (41 minutes )

And the gift that keeps on giving keeps us entertained.

Walker really is a fucking dumbarse, I have no idea why Pep hasn't sold him (or better still, given him) back to the tiny totts yet.

Brucie's going even harder on the handball rule with his interview with the Qatari.

    "It's absolute nonsense".

The wheels have clearly fallen off for Chris Wilder.

His outfit has been well and truly worked out.

It'll be interesting to see how he handles it.

I'm going to have to try and stay up tonight, even though it's a school night.

Here's hoping we can pull off a third win in a row, although it's very much going to depend on how Captain Black lines up the Mysterons in midfield.

I'm predicting a 1-1 draw for the Scousers and Gooners.

Villa looking good at Craven Cottage, 2 up at half time.

Have there been any occasions yet when the ref has been asked to view the pitch side TV and he's actually gone with his original decision of a goal/penalty etc?

I'm sure there have been, but they must be very rare. Once he gets the curly finger to go and review, it's pretty much nailed on that the goal is gonna be disallowed.

Recent example was Fulhams disallowed goal against Villa.
Players hiding there arms behind their bodies in the penalty box is another contentious subject at the moment.

Pretty even game so far between the Scousers and Arse.

    .
Yeah, that was what I was watching at the time. The co-commentator, Alan Smith, said "we all know what that usually means" when the ref got called over to review.

That Mane tap in was too easy.
Gooners are gonna come out blazing and bang two past the bin dippers.

Liverpool have been all over them, but the mickeys still look vulnerable down the flanks if Arsenal manage to get out of their own half again.

The Arsenal one is supposed to be a marble effect (marble halls - geddit?).

The plastics one looks like someone put it on a hot wash without reading the label.

Was in a sports shop yesterday and looked at the full range of PL kits, there wasn't one jersey that was actually nice. (Arsenal and UTD's away ones weren't bad)

The rack of recently made vintage kits (lots of Liverpool Crown Paints and Arsenal JVCs in there) were miles nicer.

God I hate playing a dour team like the Blades in shit conditions. Thank fuck for a couple of moments of magic. Pepe doesn't do it often enough, but hopefully his confidence will build after a goal like that.

What was Wilder whinging about at the end?

Now we have an international break before we have to traipse up to the Shitty of Manchester Stadium for a tough away fixture against the Plastics.

Perhaps they'll field that keeper that played the other day.
