Yes he left before his contract expired. That was the point.
For such a smartarse he really does miss quite a lot.
well they have clarified what everyone who saw the match thought.
Think you know the offside rule?
This will come as little consolation to Villa fans, but football's authorities have said Bernardo Silva's opener for Manchester City in their 2-0 win last week should not have stood.
At the time, by the letter of the law, the goal was legitimate, because Tyrone Mings played the ball deliberately and so the offside player - Rodri - is deemed not to have gained an advantage.
But referees group the Professional Game Match Officials Limited, rulemakers the International Football Association Board, and European governing body Uefa have since offered clarification on how such an incident should be interpreted in the future.
"Where a player in an offside position immediately impacts on an opponent who has deliberately played the ball, the match officials should prioritise challenging an opponent for the ball, and thus the offside offence of 'interfering with an opponent by impacting on the opponent's ability to play the ball' should be penalised."
The statement from the Premier League added: "Accordingly, if a similar situation to the one involving Rodri's impact on Mings occurred in a future match, then the impact would be penalised for offside."
Steve Bruce will be the next manager to be sacked at this rate.
^ By the end of this month is my guess, and by St Valentine's Day at the very latest.
Valentine's Day. That pivotal day in the football season.
Tuchel's first game tonight against Wolves and his starting side doesn't include Werner,Pulisic or recent scorers Mount and Abraham and he's gone with Giroud up front, Giroud probably thought his time was up but perhaps not. Goalless at halftime with 78% possession to Chelsea, come on Wolves.
Not a season defining game, its too early for that. However with Citeh on top of the tree and OGS inexplicably seeming to draw his team out of a hat against the bottom club and losing, it feels like Liverpool need to win this away game against Totting which quite frankly have about as much chance of winning the league as Chelsea keeping the same midfield for two games in a row.
All that shit is getting too heavy on the COVID thread, anyone got a prediction?
I fancy 3-1 Liverpool.
Looking forward to this. I think it will be a draw.
That's what I'm hoping for after United's Basaksehir redux yesterday anyway.
^ can't see it Hal, if Klop wants the league his team have to make a statement here, a draw is like waving the white flag.....imo, just to be clear that is not a fact, not written down, just a quip.
Kane and Son strike force in form.
Shame about that offside goal.
^ that was it, game over Jo.
I'm going for a 3-3.
You should stop being such an arsehole then . . . easy.
Oh, look - you can make your cretinous remarks about Klopp now here as well.
I'd agree . . . both sides can score half a dozen times a game . . . or lose big time.
It may be 1-0 but that'll even out
Erm, like the rest of what seems to have taken over TD politics, you have no sense of humour but you've decide to pop across to this thread and have a pop here.
Whilst you are on this thread why don't you also suggest to the reader on here that i should not have children?
Comical handball by Firmino.
All those Salah worshippers in the fantasy footie will be gutted.
Decent one touch goal by Mane.
Spurs are shit tonight.
No teams have any consistency this season apart from Man City.
Luckily you're the authority on humour as you're a joke . . . and please don't flatter yourself - I've been on this thread a while.
Umm . . . ok. You shouldn't procreate.
Happy now? No humorous Klopp-Nazi jokes today?
It seems my first 'prediction' is more accurate.
