As I've already mentioned, that's how you end up being in a rugby team.

Blast from the past to see Morne Steyn back playing for the Bulls.

I had just assumed he'd retired by now.

Not to take anything away from the Brumbies (who played well and deserved the win) but the Chiefs were shit.

Yeh ... shall I order the trumpeters to herald the new dawn of Australian Rugby?

    No ... I thought not!

Sunwolves v Brumbies match has been called-off / cancelled / postponed along with other Japanese professional leagues.

A first for Super Rugby I think?

First half and the Clan at home gets walloped in the first quarter of play by Melbourne Rebels and then the Highlanders claw back to within a converted try.

Could be a massive come-back on the cards here: 22 - 28 Landers in ascendancy and Rebels just got yellow

Super Rugby: Clayton McMillan appointed interim head coach for 2021 Gallagher Chiefs - NZ Herald

Went to school with him and played junior rugby with and against him before that.

His career was clearly more successful than my own.

Crusaders missing a lot of tackles. Somehow come out on top in the end, Crusaders 24 - 20 Reds.

Reds led in every stat but scoreboard. Tough loss for the Qld side.

Even Weber, who scored the try, had to say WOW twice.

The long trip back from Cape Town might have the Blues feeling a bit sluggish, but I suppose the experts are knowledgeable about managing the jet lag.

Canes attack v Blues defense so far and both have been pretty impressive. Win or lose from here this is definitely a Blues side showing character for a change.

    8 - 7 HT doesn't really tell the story.

Also just randomly but I can think of about 12,432,455 other things I'd rather do than try to tackle Ben Lam.

What was it, thirty-four phases of play after the full-time hooter? Hurricanes break their losing streak in Hamilton pulling out an after the hooter win over the Chiefs.

Well deserved too. Thought they had blown it when Perenara got carded.
