The thread for all things Super Rugby.
Tournament kicked off today, Chiefs came back to down the Blues 37 - 29 in a great game.
Brumbies v Reds next... Might give that one a skip but.

Haha... I wouldn't have picked that result at half time that's for sure!
Typical Blues footy...
In my superbru I had the Blues by 5. D'oh.
Anyway, Reds up by 10 at the half in Canberra. Brumbies 7-17 Reds.
There’s something truly and deeply wrong with the Blues.
It’s not poor coaching or a lack of talent but they just almost always find a way to lose. It’s bizarre.
Good thing I'm not making a living at wagering on rugby. I had the Blues and the Reds...
Tonight I have the Sharks by 5 over the Bulls. Sharks were my bogey team last year along with the Chiefs, so...
I feel sorry for him you can see the frustration all over his face.Originally Posted by Little Chuchok
Started off with two wrong picks, but now level with wins by the Sharks over the Bulls and the Sunwolves winning well over the Melbourne Rebels.
Bring on the Crusaders v Waratahs.
Pretty good game so far, bit scrappy but both teams playing some good attacking rugby and trying things.Originally Posted by happynz
Waratarts might’ve been a bit unlucky there before the half to have that try disallowed.
Crusaders not showing much if any loss of class without Read, Franks, Whitelock, Todd, and Crotty. All great players, but now it's time for a new group of players to shine.
Canes go down to Cape Town and get walloped by the Stormers 29-0.
RD 2 has started and the Sharks currently giving Highlanders a bit of a tickle-up at home.
Great try before the half: 3 - 27 HT
Well that escalated quickly... 20 - 42 FT
Sharks look very, very good.
Sharks fullback Aphelele Fassi looks the goods. Big and fast. That last try was like vintage Lomu.
Will the Aussies win a game against a NZ side in NZ?
Never say never but if they do you'd have to say it would be an upset.Originally Posted by David48atTD
Of all the Kiwi teams the Highlanders and Hurricanes would be most ripe for the picking at home on current form.
Disappointing penalty for nothing at the end there tarnishes what was otherwise a fantastic game.
Chiefs deserved that on the balance though.
Cruden has been excellent on his return to Super Rugby. That Brad Weber bloke has been special too.
I look forward to seeing the rematch later when the Chiefs travel to Christchurch.
Blues off to a great start against the Crus... And nup, business as usual.
Mo'unga does the business again.
I just stopped watching Waratarts v Rebels, pretty dire game not helped by the weather.
