There's absolutely no doubt that there should be an annual British Cup Tournament.

There would be, but England always refuses to take part, apparently.

    Last chance before IndyRef2...

The Nations League is just another UEFA money making exercise and is as relevant as the milk cup, countries will start sending their under 17s on it.

You only want Scotland in it so they might actually win something other than Elephant Polo.

Were you saying the same when England were living up for the semi-final a few years ago?

Good chance of 7/9 points if we only get 1 off England.

And don't forget we were the best team in the world in '66.

If you defeat the champion you become the champion, right?

We've also won the Highland games and never failed to qualify.

yes, bth i find football tournaments boring, the games tend to be cagey, poor quality and the games stop start more than Dill on the number 67.

. Good grief, more whining. this 'money-making' exercise benefits the national teams - you may want to look up how it is spent.

    Get over yourself . . .

    Obviously not.

It's a football tournament, those who didn't progress - just move on. You'll do better next time . . .

Hmmm LA or Cardiff, that must have been a tough fucking choice.

Gareth Bale has confirmed his move to Los Angeles FC on his social media channels.
News emerged yesterday revealing the Wales skipper had chosen America over Cardiff City for his next move in football after his Real Madrid contract came to an end.
It was thought Bale's decision was a straight toss-up between MLS and his hometown club, with LAFC coming out as winners.

Hopefully can finally get hair plugs there so he doesn't have to wear that fokin' man-bun over his bald patch.

Cardiff used to have a really amenable Thai Consulate, but I doubt he even considered that.

England face Israel in the final of the U19 Euros on Friday; kick off at 7pm BST.

They already beat Israel in the group stages. Surely they won't bottle it.

FIFA and UEFA scum get away with corruption in a trial based in a country that benefitted from Nazi war crimes and continues hide money for some of the worst dictators and despots on the planet. No surprise there then.

Sepp Blatter and Michel Platini found not guilty following fraud trial

Former Fifa president Sepp Blatter and vice-president Michel Platini have both been found not guilty following their fraud trial.

The pair stood trial over a payment of 2m Swiss francs (£1.6m) made by Blatter to Platini in 2011.

Both men had denied wrongdoing and said the transfer was belated payment for Platini's advisory work for Fifa.

On his arrival at the court on Friday, Blatter said: "I am not innocent in my life but in this case I am innocent."

The 11-day trial took place at the Federal Criminal Court in Bellinzona, Switzerland and concluded on 22 June.

Jack Wilshere announces his retirement, aged 30.

Similar to David Bentley retiring at age 29. What do Arsenal do to their young players.

Retiring aged 29-30 with 20-30-40 million in the bank.

The dinner thread will be almost as good as last week when he wakes up and gets his Union Jack out.

Has he mentioned he could kill Keano yet?

If you knew anything about me i am all for independence. What is it with you Mancs, was it the lack of investment in replacing the lead piping once British Water got privatised something to do with it. Nah leave the Minkeys til last, no one will notice.

Move them on if they drink and smoke and don't take care of themselves.
