Done my bandwagoning for the year.
I won 2900 baht yesterday on the rugby sweepstake so wasn't all bad.
The tickets I pulled out of the hat were England to win by 32-35 points and South Africa to win by 19-22 points which I'd initially chucked on the floor in disgust:)

England Rugby team reveal they deliberately lost Rugby World Cup to avoid 10 Downing Street photo op

SOME THINGS JUST AREN’T WORTH THE SHAME : England’s unsuccessful Rugby World Cup squad have revealed the secret behind their lack of success, after failing to allow South Africa to lose the final in Japan.
“It’s all the fault of shit-Midas Boris Johnson,” a team insider revealed exclusively to LCD Views, “we could have won, but you know what that would have meant, don’t you?”
:smileylaughing:
I think BoJo " Spunkball " Shagger offered the scrum a shagfest with his septic slapper Arcuri as a prize for winning.
No wonder they lost steam.
Sloppy seconds after she'd been rifled by dirty Boris, I mean, who would?
Crikey the social medias are going off at the English players for not wearing their medals.
#MedalGate
By the way has anyone heard from Betty? Worried he might've overdosed on coffee somewhere!
^
He's scouring the rubbish bins near the stadium for second-place medals and used coffee grinds.
With their win yesterday SA also take the #1 ranking (England fall to #3 behind NZ)
I think runners up medals will appear on EBay shortly. Just a feeling I have.
You have a nice nap Boo, we'll do a photothread for you.

Ah say chaps, wassup?
This is like rather deja vuish, what?
Tootin' me horn/vuvuzela
2019: Rugby Championship winners: South Africa; World Cup champions: South Africa.
Also, the Springboks are yet to concede a try in three World Cup finals and remain the only side to have kept opponents at bay in the decider. Played 7, final 3, won 3.
Unbelievable results what with the political pressures on the Boks over the last 25 years. Damn, how time flies when you're not having fun.
Well done SA Rugby. You've earned every accolade and then some! You've earned my deepest respect, I didn't believe it could be done.
Now let me get back to being happily depressed.
Bandwagon, SA Express.
:D
On the other end of that scale...Quote:

Being there, there was a good atmosphere, the crowd mixed very well before, during and after the game.
If I was an England player with that skill and ability, playing like that on the night, in private, I would have put my medal in the
bin - worthless after that game.
I'll do a quick photothread then be off.
Your choice to decide if it is or isn't . . . most would suggest that not wearing the medal while SA got theirs is bad form
"Itoje point-blank refused to have the medal placed around his neck after shaking Beaumont's hand."
Except it's not, is it. It's people here, people at work etc...
English teams are usually quite sportsmanlike in their defeats (perhaps because they lose so often), but this wasn't one of those times.
I can just imagine if the reverse had been the case, the Poms would have a field-day with that
