Imagine if England win that RWC and then went on to win the Football World cup in a couple of years. Thus holding 3 World Cups at the same time...That would be some sporting achievement.

    You heard it here first

I need some confidence knocking out of me. I feel like a fuckin Aussie

    Each to their own...

Gimme the stress, adrenalin and even the pain of losing over watching as a neutral.

^^ he's a meat-head son of a rugby league player - it's a complete mystery to me, and a very pleasant surprise, that he seems to have developed some decent passing skills and a tad of vision.

Not the most interesting to listen to on post-game interviews, but Sir Eddie of Brunswick makes up for that.

Happened to have come upon this interview - he reminds me of the union players of years ago - brains and skills. Except now they're all built like outdoor dunnies. Impressive young man

(And he used to have normal ears)

Got a few quality beers for the game. Also the best bottle of Champagne available in this pretty large supermarket (still average, and a small bottle...) to celebrate our victory.

Upon reflection, I think I'll pop to another supermarket with a bigger wine selection and see if they have a nice Krug or something decent - winning the WC is a big deal - we've now been in as many finals as anybody, and if the bastard officials hadn't robbed us in 2007 we'd have won as many WCs as anybody... Having said that, if the All Blacks hadn't been poisned then they'd still be 1 ahead.

The Emart stores are pretty big like a Tesco, Makro or Big C, but have endless rows of exactly the same noodles and kimchi, but fuk all of interest. That little bottle, pathetic as it is, is supposed to be quite decent tasting. However, I do agree that it's not good enough, so I will be heading out later looking for something better - I will report back...

(Just like the LOS, wine is really expensive here, that silly little bottle cost me US$35, so I am expecting to be raped if I do find something pleasant.)

Actually, I'll save the drink until I get home.

Once in a lifetime and all that. A bit Billy No Mates, but the horrific price does include free drinks...

I wonder if there are flights available, I suppose I'd better check...
