Terrible officiating in the second half, New Zealand were lucky to get on the scoreboard; should have been down to 14 men at least three times for endless offences such as diving over rucks, diving in at the side, picking balls up that weren't out of the ruck (after being told they'd had their final warning), forward passes galore, endless. Felt like we had to score every point twice with this officials...

It's the only way to play against this KW team - aggression, attack and more aggression. They are only human if you put them under pressure.

Itoje was more effective than the 3 Kiwi locks combined, just sayin... Outplayed them at the breakdown by some distance; rare. Shame we didn't score a couple more tries, another 10 points would have been a fair representation of Sir Eddies men. Watson, best winger on the field.

The Marius Junker video ref is such a kunt...

    Ant ... hugs Bro.

    Well done Mr Coffee

    ---

That was one of the best games of Rugby I watched in a long time.

    Kudos to both Teams.

    ---

Quite a few, what I thought were forward passes, most from KIWI's hands.

Well deserved win to England who outplayed the All Blacks from the kickoff. Congratulations England.

I wouldn't wanna be the team playing them next weekend in the 3rd to 4th place playoff - I reckon they'll put 50 points on the Bokks or Wales; they didn't get into the game today, they will wanna finish with some rugby next week.

Umm ... I can understand the enthusiasm.

I'll take the 50+ start for the 3rd to 4th place playoff.

    Just a lazy grand thanks

Astonishing victory for a brilliant team effort by England. Never took their foot of from start to finish. I was so engrossed in the English players aggression that I forgot we were so far ahead with only 2 minutes on the clock. I was still expecting a Kiwi comeback!

To be fair, the Kiwis rarely lose, have won the last two WCs and made the semis here - it just wasn't their day. England played nigh on as well as we're able (probably a tad weak at finishing possible tries), and had a perfect gameplan against the Kiwis. We started well and surprisingly kept going for 80 minutes.

I know the Kiwis expect to win, but Retallick wasn't match fit and Whitelock is a bit beyond his best; our locks are very good and played their best. Same all over the pack, we're coming into our prime, the Kiwis are a tad beyond it with some players, and some of the younger players not quite enough experience.

19 turnovers against you, when was the last time that happened? I don't know why, but New Zealand seemed a bit lax at the breakdown today.

If the same team played in 4 years time it'll be a great game.

Can it not be said that the name "Eddie Jones" figures predominately in this win?

That point was made, more then once, by the games commentators.

Yes, he is an excellent coach. As is Hansen.

Right, I'm back to watching Sharpe, you're all bastards, but it was nice to beat the All Blacks. I'm not sure who to make man of the match, Itoje, Underhill, Curry or Farrell. Who actually won TMoTM?

It's good for the game that New Zealand didn't win 3 on the bounce.

SA and Wales are both capable of beating us. The final is anybody's...

I prefer to beat Wales in the final, which means England will need to beat a very weary Boks side.

So here's Boo's tip for the winner.

England. Or Wales. Or South Africa.
